 I love your sarcasm.

You must be delighted tonight, much deserved

Hopefully get this over the line tomorrow...

I know this will be bordering on masochism but I hope we hear nothing for at least 22 1/2 hours to boost the New Years Eve celebrations, the timing could be perfect.

Wow! They got rattled quick.

Pardew will absolutely relegate them this season without fail....Primarily because he'll arrive all cocky and start his over analyzed antics he gets from prozone. Players in wrong positions, with the wrong instructions and completely demoralised within 6 weeks. No Ba, Hatem or Remy to dig him out. Then that Jedniak will knock him out.  :D

I honestly can see him keeping them up. Like Tevez said and like we've noticed, he works best with a team that lacks quality or is up against a better opponent. There's a reason we had so many scalps against bigger clubs with him, and why players like Perch and Williamson have had career runs-in-form while here.

Cabaye, Sissoko, Ba, Cisse. They are the reason. Unless Zaha and Bolasie have the best 6 months of their lives they are going down

*whispers it* Some of those games were the times when he got his tactics spot on (Man Utd home in 2011, same away in 2013, Chelsea home in 2014). Not saying he could do the same with that Crystal Palace, but there's enough shit in the league that makes me think he could pull a squad that's a similar quality to his ability our of relegation for at least a year.

Are you saying shit players combined with his shit ability will save Palace? Doomed mate. Kebabed and no mistake. I'm bookmarking those Palace forums because in a few weeks there will be no better source of hilarity on the internet.

Aye but we wouldn't have won those games with Chamakh up front,Joe Ledley in midfield and Damien Delaney centre half. It will be between them and Hull for 18th I'd say

Sure. Not saying he'll beat those teams, just that they'll have a better chance against teams like Swansea, Stoke, and the nondescript relegation fodder.

People often forget what a good squad Pardew has had during most of his time here. If he almost relegated you with the likes of Cabaye, Santon, Sissoko, etc... the heights he may achieve with the one-two punch of Chamakh and Frazier Campbell will be the stuff of legends.

Only been able to get on here now since the confirmation. It still hasn't sunk in. My unbridled joy has been far too quickly tinged with utter peril with this Colo talk, though. Carragher's laugh is spot on. I in no way want to suggest Pardew leaving isn't the best thing to happen to me in years, but f***ing hell, if Colo goes player manager I may just hang myself.

Exactly, people say he doesn't have any money to spend but every Newcastle team he's had has had match winners who can pull some 'magic' out of the bag that other teams would kill for
