Spurs ain't any great shakes but they have to come back strong after the Man City result....we on the other hand will be patting ourselves on the back all week. Pardew in full, smug, 'corner turned'. complacent cretin mode.

That should see us 'over the line' for the right result...Spurs by 3.

Pardews book of excuses states it's almost impossible to win a PL match after playing in the Europa League the previous Thursday so I'd have to go for a comfortable away win.

If they turn us over no doubt he'll say we were rusty having not played in 8 days and they were far sharper for getting a game in on the Thursday night though.

Nah he'll now reverse that to "Spurs have had a game mid week, they'll be fresher than us in the mind"

Not feeling a hammering coming on, seen Spurs a fair few times this season and haven't looked the best. Can't see us getting anything though given how badly we've been playing but think we'll compete at the very least and probably end up like the City game in the first game of the season.

Pardew can easily sweep a 1-0 or 2-0 defeat under his magic carpet.

they could very easily have put 3 or 4 past citeh at the weekend, unless pardiola manages to successfully park the bus they'll score a few

even last year when we beat them they carved us up for fun just krul and their own profligacy cost them

Defeat means nothing to the King anymore.

He is the Captain Scarlett of the managerial world. An indestructible one man juggernaut, impervious to the most horrific form this club has witnessed in recent times, taking us full speed towards Footballing oblivion.

& were all in for the ride!

4-0

Hasn't this exact thing happened before? Once we got knocked out of Europa or something like that...

Their style of play is ideally suited to destroying us tbh

If Sherwood was still managing them I'd be 100% confident of a dicking like he gave us at SJP this year. Pochettino seems to be having a few teething problems in implementing his pressing style there.

Eriksen's movement and energy will be far too much for Willo, Colo and Dummett to handle.

He'll pull the strings, they'll hammer us 3-0 and Pardew will make some lame comment about how Eriksen reminds him of Cabaye and it shows how important that type of player is to a team.
