In terms of stuff I'm after, but when I see them I can't afford them and when I can afford them there's none for sale, are the below;

Spoiler

This is a bairn's but always wanted this OR the black one that I can't find a picture of.

The Holy Grale. Can hardly ever find one, and when one does go up the price is fucking ludicrous. Somewhere have started doing snidey shite remakes of this as well. (tbh, I want any and all of the jumpers/sweatshirts from 1992-2003.)

This 1/4 zip fleece. Once I get this I'll have all the training/bench stuff from 1996-97.

Piss poor. We must have one of the worst retro ranges about. Only the bukta stuff that’s ever been done again properly, villa, spurs, Everton, arsenal and Man U off top of head have had decent remakes, even the mackems have had 80s Umbro stuff.

We've got to assume adidas will come to the rescue at some point and re-issue the classics like they have for Man U and Arsenal. I do know that those Man U and Arsenal shirts were in very short supply.

But what I'd most like to see is proper Umbro branded retro shirts like Sunderland have instead of Score Draw stuff. Not sure how Sunderland have managed that to be honest.

I’ve over 100 Newcastle match worn shirts covering 75+ years and found that I had one of the yellow mcewans a few years back. It still has the black patch over it but the yellow is 100% beneath, when I find another I’ll be removing it.

oh and add in getting beat off the Mackems 3-0 at home and 4-0 thrashings at home to Man U and Spurs. Such golden memories of 13/14!

We really should be getting an official adidas 96 remake in long sleeves for xmas, but instead we are getting 13-14 remake. Unbelieveable.

Completely agree with what your saying 13/14 was a horrible season in a horrible period... but all them games you mentioned we weren't wearing the 2 jerseys that the club are passing of as "retro" lol.. actually really liked that members one at the time, ended up buying it when I wasn't even a member at the time, just remember someone one on here posted the link and I was able to buy it [emoji38] and the yellow one we had some pretty good results in it if memory serves me correctly, beating spurs in that game where krul made like 20 saves lol and that game where we beat man utd at old Trafford.... but saying that, does feel very random to remake those particular jerseys from that particular time lol... always wondered why the club or score draw or whoever does the retro remakes never done the 99/01 home ot the 01/03 home ? Seeing that them particular kits have a bit of history/meaning behind them saying they were worn in an FA cup final and a CL run respectively.

Just back to the Retro kits thing, just seen this on X from the 1976 League Cup Final, which is interesting and a little confusing.... Umbro Kits, Adidas Hoodies. :icon_scratch:

Not sure but I keep searching eBay for that Cole 9 black back patch to throw on my shirt. One day.

Message Futprint on Instagram. He does that sort of stuff, including that exact name & number set and patch/panel.

Does he do repairs? Got a massively ruined 95/96 original that did have Asprilla on the back and a brown ale badge on the front. No longer does thanks to the tumble dryer

Definitely didn't sell it at the time because I wanted it and my mam and dad couldn't get it. They got me this instead and I used to wear it underneath

I never had that but had the stripey track/shell suit and sadly thats one of the only things ive ever got rid of.  I was at OT for the first ever premier league point and wrote to the club to ask about them relesing the white socks, (I was 11) and was politely told no.  I did however have the blue asics cycling shorts which I'd wear for maximum Andy Cole-ness, even did full kit wanker for the spurs game on first day of the season.

I've got both the asics waistcoats in my collection now, very niche.  I do genuinely believe the asics stuff was the most sought after ever at the time, 3 years of the same shirt seemed an eternity at the time and we went from mid table with a half full ground to packing it out and getting promoted in the space of one kit.

Incredible! You must be only a couple of years older than me so that brought back a lot of memories. I remember the clamour around the asics stuff being insane as well, I had that 'keeper top before I think I got anything else. The 'Columns' keeper top as I called it.

So were you cutting about on Christmas day in a toon waistcoat then? I remember the more fashion stuff they did like, think my dad had an 1892 granddad collar or something. Wish I still had a photo of my room, it was absolutely ridiculous.

I think he does. Not 100% though.
