Does your home 94 shirt have the furry ASICS logo, and your away the stitched patch? I have the home one with a stitched ASICS logo and been told a few times that is i correct, not sure myself but it was bought from classic football shirts around 2009 so was hopeful it was legit. My blue star home one is stitched and the mcewans home one is flock, this may have been due to the the time of issue. I recall some of the later ones having the asics logo alongside the text, and we hardly wore the blue star version in 94-95.

Every shirt bought/sold using classic football shirts is 100% legit, they don't do fakes. I've enquired before about a Holland 1988 home shirt I bought a few years back and they sent a ridiculously detailed response citing the slightest differences in shirts produced by adidas in different countries. Trust me, it'll be legit

bowlingcrofty Posted Friday at 18:34 Share Posted Friday at 18:34 I believe the earlier batch of those asics kits came with the embroidered asics logo, and latter batches had the rubberised/flock version.

Harry 209 Posted Friday at 21:30 Share Posted Friday at 21:30 Good point about CFS - I bought the blue Asics one on their a couple of years ago, shirt was 100% legit but the nameset was 'aftermarket' and looked like it had been added very recently. They will have known this but it wasn't mentioned in the description. A bit shan tbh

ramirez Posted Friday at 21:48 Share Posted Friday at 21:48 I don’t think anyone had proper numbers on back then, the green market did ok ones but not ASICS. Mine were shocking in hindsight but it was also the first shirt we had with names on.

Did the club shop (or shack as it was then) do them? They definitely did when adidas took over in

ramirez Posted Friday at 22:07 Share Posted Friday at 22:07 Smaller sport shops would do printing, and I think maybe all sports later on.
Izakaya Posted Sunday at 02:30 Share Posted Sunday at 02:30 (edited) Started getting ads for hoisty versions of these. If only Adidas sorted their shit out and actually made enough to stock Australian stores I wouldn't have to go down this route 😫 Edited Sunday at 02:30 by Izakaya
