Why are you amazed?

The previous leaks. No announcement of a new sponsor. No indication from fun88 of the deal ending. The blue on home kit the same as fun88. Everything pointed to it being fun88

Replica gets proper badge and Pro gets the iron on.

That has to be a mix up

you don’t pay £105+ for the pro version with a stock on badge

the pro version in real like has stitched on badges ??

I think the "pro" one is made from different material. The non-embroidered badge is to prevent chafing of the nips.

Nipple chafing and it'll keep the total weight down without an embroidered badge. That's before the other bits that'll be an upgrade.

I kind of don't mind Fun88, why the hate?

I think it’s because of the money it generates (or doesn’t generate) compared to a new big shiny sponsor could bring in

However it could be argued we aren’t at that stage yet ?

although I am sure we could argue back !!

either way it will change in the long term if they don’t offer more money

sure it’s only £6.5 million a year

the (big boys) get £50-  £60 million a year

Really we’re not getting fair market value, proper Mike Ashley deal.

I think the ownership were trying to get out of it hence the delay in announcing but couldn’t get out/something through the door in time.

It is pretty similar to most other mid-table teams which, until we prove otherwise, is what we are.

This maybe isn't 100% accurate or up to date but - https://www.totalsportal.com/money/premier-league-kit-deals/

Decent looking if not basic shirt. The fan version has an embroidered crest so that’ll please many. The Sky blue Fun88 sponsor, as with all the other home shirts, spoils it and it’ll be another I won’t purchase. Another year to wait.

What am I missing here? Think it looks good and a very, very welcome return!

The light blue is a bit jarring but overall I think it's a great shirt. Looks really clean and classic, and I like the collar.

it's a better effort than the retro shirt, but the text still isn't vertically aligned properly.

Just pre-ordered. First (non-dodgy) Newcastle kit I have bought in years. Want to say the last official one I have has Virgin Money on it.

Regardless of the sponsor, figure this will be a top that carries good memories.

Id say last seasons could be worth picking up cheap, given the links that will have going forward.
