triggs
Platini is every bit as bad as Blatter but I can see many from this side of the world campaigning for him because he'd probably be more euro-centric than Blatter was

Dave
http://news.mcdonalds.com/Corporate/Media-Statements/McDonald-s-Statement-on-FIFA McDonald's Statement on FIFA The events of recent weeks have continued to diminish the reputation of FIFA and public confidence in its leadership. We believe it would be in the best interest of the game for FIFA President Sepp Blatter to step down immediately so that the reform process can proceed with the credibility that is needed. jdckelly
so its now they choose to pipe up, not the constant corruption over the years, not the fact the world cup is going to a country where being gay is a crime and blatters response was: "I would say they should refrain from any sexual activities." The worker deaths etc and then theres the fact they bid for a summer world cup promising technology to cool the stadiums which turns out to be a load of bullshit and it gets moved to winter. But instead of voicing concerns then with all those valid concerns they choose to condemn him when he's a dead man walking. Fuck em
