nemtizz
Poor all round from Butland. If you're a keeper and you know you're fucked then you go down and stop the game for treatment or to make the sub. He got injured as he kicked the ball away. Not much he could do about it to be honest. He did it before that. That only made it worse.
triggs
Germany just so clinical compared to England. England have been the better team yet should be 2-0 down Because what real chances have we had? Its reactive thinking. The formation is based around stopping them still. You have two top class strikers, but you're focusing on stopping them instead. Play to YOUR strengths. Welbeck/Lallana one should have finished in a goal. You've had the ball in good positions but just fucked up the final ball at times too. Tbf your tactics are generally working IMO

Mole_Toonfan
Good first half, don't deserve to be behind yet lucky we're not further behind. Liking Lallana and Alli, unfortunately Kane having one of those King Midas in reverse games at the moment. Think we do tbf, it's a harsh lesson but it's an apt one considering that's what quality teams do.

You say "That was a good goal" instead of "That should have been a goal". Welbeck & Lallana are not top class goalscorers. They are great players who can make us look like we're playing well. Which is how it looks.

Cronky
I don't think we need to play both Henderson and Dier. I'd bring on Barkley for Henderson. Clyne isn't an international full back. But we're doing well.

There's a difference between facing the best at international level and performing well in the Premier League. A lot of these players are an example of that gulf in class. Tiresias
Butland has seemed better this season but Hart passes the ball out better from the back which is pretty important at this level. Still would be tempted to prefer Butland or Forster

Butland went through a period where he was superb & has gone back a bit now. He was the best in the league for a period & good enough for this stage. Forster isnt that far off imo. triggs
Decent shot by Alli like but when you're 4 on 4 in that counter attacking situation you have to do better than a shot from 20 yards
Tiresias
Says a lot that our players are desperate to shoot from distance and get the glory for themselves, not functioning as a team and think Hodgson is a bit of a pardew in thinks that goals come from a 'bit of magic' that can't be properly coached not good attacking moves
