From twitter "Belgium media reporting Mitrovic's dad blocking move due to wanting his son to play European football for FC Porto"

http://www.sudinfo.be/1330614/article/2015-07-12/anderlecht-ezekiel-en-bonne-voie-pour-rejoindre-les-mauves-mitrovic-bloque-par-s?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

Just rehash stuff. His dad said he was waiting on another club, believed to be Porto.

Still nailed on.

The only thing standing between Mitrovic and Newcastle is the player's dad. #rsca #nufc

I think the fact his brother has been snooping around the dressing room would suggest it's 99.9% done like.

Kristan Heneage on twitter said he has heard Mitrovic is heading to newcastle today and expects deal to be done mid week if all goes as planned.

Not sure if this should be in the twitter thread but the guy is a football writer so put it in here.

He is and respectable at that.

Should be done before midweek if he's flying in today though.

Can't see that. When did he say that?

@elmarcosmasonos Have heard he's heading to Tyneside now to discuss things with Newcastle the only real offer on the table.

@TomFry9 No won't happen this weekend. I'd shoot closer to midweek if things go smoothly.

He's a bit of a knob as well.

This is also true.

What's he done to yee like, Neesy?

I get on well with Nixon. He doesn't tend to post stuff like that unless he reckons it's legit.

Nowt against him personally but he's a football journalist, lowest of the low in terms of journalism.

He's posted 90% of stuff that's bollocks tbh.  That's still a decent percentage for football reporters.

Well that's a pretty shit reason because he actually tries to do the job properly. He's far from being a tabloid wanker. He's worlds away from the gossip columns, the ofd tweet like this aside.

So you don't like him because he's a football journalist? Seems pretty harsh
