Guest
Pretty obvious that we were sussed after our initial run of good form like. We'd have probably got similar results but for Lascelles' injury.

I don't think a lot's changed tbh, we scored two against Bournemouth, but they pretty much put them in the net for us. The goal against Man U was the first decent one I've seen us score for a while, and that was from a set piece.
mrmojorisin75
Pretty obvious that we were sussed after our initial run of good form like. Don't agree with that at all myself, we've never changed the way we've played and we've never really stopped creating chances either. We just stopped taking the chances when we needed them because our strikers are shit.
Hanshithispantz
We were mainly scoring from set pieces which teams cottoned onto, Lascelles won 2 games in a row iirc. Scored 1 since then I think. Ritchie had like 4 or 5 assists.

Ritchie had like 4 or 5 assists. It just wasn't a sustainable way to win games. And Lascelles isn't Sergio Ramos so it wasn't going to be a regular thing anyway
Footsoldier
Essential that he is back. We need to win and he gives us more going forward than anybody else. Bottom line.
plenum
I would keep him for his footballing skills. His mental side is a bit qustionable with regards to disipline and perhaps also motivation to play for us.?
shakey jake
Been immense so far, so fucking good on the ball
LRD
Jonjo Shelvey is class.
TRon
Shelvey's obviously in a different class, but it helps that Diame is decent on the ball when he's on form, that gives Jonjo a lot more options in midfield when they are paired together.
Infinitely Content
Played Jonjo. Different class.
Roids
Best player in the team. Should be at the WC imo.
Infinitely Content
Best player in the team. Should be at the WC imo. Is there a better passer of the ball in the likely England midfield? Not for me there isn't.

Guest Howaythetoon
2 home games in a row he has absolutely bossed it. Another fine performance. It seems him and Diame need each other...

I was thinking more in terms of him being an attacking option off the bench offering something the likes of Dier or Henderson can't.
The College Dropout
Wilshere Henderson Dier Ox has been playing CM. Milner too. Yeah can certainly see Jonjo in the running.
Guest Howaythetoon
Let’s not get carried away FFS he’s had 2 very good games lately but mainly been rank to average this season. If he goes to Russia and starts a game I’d be wanting a game... Henderson is a much better player for example and Liverpool missed him today.
Tsunami
I’ve got the real life Viz Fat Slags who sit behind me and the one I’ve named Shaz absolutely hates Shelvey. He must have rubbed her up the wrong way down the Bigg Market. If it’s you and you’re reading this will you please just stay in The Bee Hive and save my ears from bleeding anymore. AyeDubbleYoo
He's better on the ball than the majority of England's midfield, unfortunately he also tends to lose the plot and/or disappear. He could play ability-wise though.
xLiaaamx
He'd be great in those games against Minnows we so often struggle to create in.

Minhosa
There's not a chance I'd take him to the World Cup btw. He's been very poor/average for much of the season. A few decent games shouldn't completely change the longer term picture.
