Crumpy Gunt
Away regulars will know of cliffy. Seems he's sadly passed away.
Wallsendmag
Just seen it on Keith Barrett's Facebook before there. Very sad to hear the news. He followed Newcastle everywhere, never missed a game and was one of the most recognisable faces in the stands. RIP Cliffy
Foluwashola
Don't know him personally but a familiar face at away games. RIP.
Sima
RIP Cliffy. Had a dog called Geordie Rock iirc. Regardless of there being thousands of fans at a match I always seemed to see him.
Jaqen
"Cliffy Ahmed loves Newcastle, and his cats. Black and white cats!" RIP Cliffy.
andyman
Two players squaring up to each other just in front of the Toon supporters when the legend that is Cliffy Ahmed shouts "KICK HIM IN THE COCK" Love that one liner. Rest in peace, Cliffy!

Foluwashola
I normally gan to shearers after the match (soz) and he would always be knocking about. Great bloke.
geordiedean
It's so sad that he's just another fan whose dedicated his life to following this team with absolutely nothing back in return there's so many of these guys lots on here included that will die without seeing us win anything ever. It's tragic
Wullie
Sad news, one of them who I used to wonder how on Earth he could afford to follow us home and away, truly dedicated.

Superior Acuña
Is Cliffy the man with the dark hair and away top in the background. If so, aye, apart from John Alder he's probably the fan I'd recognize most at matches.

Scoreboard82
Sad news. He went everwhere with this club and like john alder was one of the most recognisable faces in our support. As has been mentioned he passed having seen very little reward for his dedication. He obviously loved his hobby and the toon though. RIP Cliffy. LFEE
Guessed it was him from the descriptions and the picture confirms it. Also wondered where he got the money from for all the games he went to. Always spoke but like some have said sometimes hard to understand. Seemed a real gentle bloke. RIP.
