Might as well have 6 players out there ffs The players cant do anything if the ball is constantly coming at them, they just end up running about. Shelvey needs to be in a relatively attacking formation with players to aim for, what can he do? Play a through ball to Perez who isnt even that fast? Only the 3 defenders to get past. We moved the ball forward 10 yards with 3 rubbish and lucky bits of play where the ball bounced around, deflected off opponents etc. Everton retrieved the ball, pinged 3 passes in a triangle then found a pocket to move into.
