Si
Is there not a chance that Moyes will fall on his sword and walk, if things don't pick up? Reckon he'd miss the point.
bhoywhonder
How did they get off so lightly regarding this ? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/10/27/ex-sunderland-chief-margaret-byrne---who-quit-over-handling-of-a/ For the same reason something as insignificant as our deal with Wonga made the national news. Some clubs are newsworthy, others elicit nothing more than a shrug outside their immediate area. The noncey groomboys fall heavily into the latter box, and given the fascism/racism/paedo stuff of the last few seasons, for that they should be eternally grateful. BlueStar
Apparently if they lose by 3 goals tomorrow then it's the worst opening 10 games by any team in the premier league ever.

Yeah I just saw that and the mixed starting 11s that had hardly any of our players in, Januzaj better than Perez, Watmore better than Richie??? Shelvey? Nah Catts for me like! Guest
In the 9 years since Ashley has been here (which coincided with them being back in the Premier League), we still have a higher average league position in them, which includes two relegation finishes and a season where we were 21st. They'd have to finish 5 places ahead of us this season to end the Ashley decade ahead of us league wise, which would then include us having 4 finishes below 18th. Leazes_End_Mag
A mackem at work today was saying he would rather go down with Moyes and let him try to rebuild the club, rather than constantly change managers every 6 month.

I'll settle for a spirited draw and the illusion they've turned a corner giving Moyes a stay of execution to exact more pain on them.
