Jayson
Hoping Rafa isn't starting him to justify the transfer, because he's had a while now & the taking of crosses is still very suspect. In comparison, Darlow has done nothing wrong atall & was probably the most unlucky to lose his place from last season of everyone in the squad. He was growing into the side actually, saving that key penalty & looking far more confident.
Heron
The "Sky generation" are people like me into their thirties now man. They're not though in a sense mate. You've been brought up to understand what getting behind your team is and half these knackers nowadays don't just expect a "team that tries hard", hell they don't even expect a win. They expect to win in an entertaining fashion. Utter fucking plebs. Alright sometimes it's upto the team to give the fans something to shout about but they did that at QPR then after that at Wolves our support was woeful. If people wanna be entertained and see a team that wins every week they should fuck off to Manchester. If people wanna support their local club and have pride in where they're from they should expect to give as much as they take. Unfortunately that's where we're at. ponsaelius
To be honest, the crowd was shit against Wolves. But we're in the Championship. Last time we went all season unbeaten at home. We've already lost 2 this time around. The expectations to win every week, or at least play with attacking vigour, and ultimately run away with the league are completely justified. It's one thing to want to win in an entertain fashion. Everyone should want it. But there's an expectancy there which is my issue. Hence why people go batshit crazy when we misplace a pass or whatever instead of just realising they're doing their best and actually showing some encouragement. It's a different scenario this time. We're having not only a personnel shift we're having a mentality shift and actually the whole club is shifting. Last time it was merely a case of clear out the bad eggs and crack on.
Ronaldo
I'm not sure what that's got to do with playing one striker against Wolves and Huddersfield, mind.

Ronaldo
We're talking about people who booed Laurent Robert off the pitch at the end of a season where he got 12 goals and fuck knows how many assists. An average at best goalkeeper that no one's ever heard of quite inexplicably starting games for us doesn't stand a chance.

Odear
A shaky start but he's got loads of potential, don't forget how bad De Gea looked for Manchester the first year he was there. And it's the same type of problems, crosses coming into the box and decisions that are made in that moment.. like to punch or to catch etc.. he'll learn. It's not like he's cost us a cup final... anyone being a nasty cunt on twitter or here needs to grow up and give the lad a chance
HaydnNUFC
We should have won that game about 1-4 and people are thick enough to blame the 'keeper.
Big Geordie
The lad needs to be allowed to settle into the club and I'd advocate him being taken out of the firing line for a bit. The abuse he's got on Twitter is little short of shameful. I remember Mike Hooper getting a lot of stick, back in 93/94 and KK becoming very angry about it. Figures 1-0 Football
A shaky start but he's got loads of potential, don't forget how bad De Gea looked for Manchester the first year he was there. It's not like he's cost us a cup final... anyone being a nasty c*** on twitter or here needs to grow up and give the lad a chance I don't think it is just this though. De Gea had a few bad games at Man Utd very early on, but did not make anywhere near as many mistakes as Sels has so far. Sels isn't even "young", he's 24 and should be doing better. De Gea made mistakes under pressure, Sels makes mistakes when there is no pressure on him at all. His positional sense is dreadful, command of his area is none existent, doesn't seem to have any communication with his defence or organising his defence, his shot stopping is debatable (palms/punches the ball into danger quite a bit), his distribution is iffy at times. Apart from one save late on against Brighton(?), I cant recall a single save that he has made so far this season that I thought "good save". We're lucky that he hasn't been tested much otherwise our results could have been a lot different. I just do not think he's very good, he's certainly not better than Darlow.
