Their game at the weekend has been called off as they don’t have any admin staff to fulfil league requirements.

Tuesday night v Worksop possibly called off too.

Club is imploding and really fast. :(

This was painfully predictable from day 1.

Blyth Town 2nd in the Northern League. Could be in the same division as each other next year.

North Shields travelled to Wakefield today for their Vase game. Probably 100+ and they called the game off an hour before kick off.

Fucking disgrace.

My mate went down on the bus. Ended up going to Wetherby on the drink instead. Got back about an hour ago.

Dunston 3-2 Heaton Stan. Really entertaining game, which Stan should have got at least a point out of, but undone by two cracking set-piece headers by the Dunston centre half.

Also nice to see a game played on a brilliant pitch, like a bowling green compared to Grounsell.

No sign of Wraith or any gangsters.

6-0 for Whitley today, wish I'd gone along instead of watching that shite on a stream. Seems like the team might be clicking after a poor start.

We were there, my team were mascots :aww:

I’ve been at quite a few this season.

"Gyetsid" is pretty common in my experience like :) It's just learned pronounciation like Cambois and Redcar I suppose, and even those of us from the North East all emphasise different bits of Newcastle when we say it (my mam says NEWcassel, my dad says nyooCASsel).  The bigger mystery for me has always been what does "Shields" on its own mean   Does it depend which one you're closest to when you say it?  Does it always mean North or South?  I think I asked this a while back somewhere but it remained inconclusive

Exactly this.  South Shields folk insist theirs is Shields, North Shields folk insist theirs is....

We all know North is the winner tbf.
