French Ligue 2 as well. He also made the US national team look competitive, only for Klinsmann to fuck that shit up. Egypt as well. Not saying that international management similar to club management, but his past experiences clearly qualifies him for a role as Manager of Swansea much more than many others. I'm not saying he didn't fail at the job in his 11 matches. I'm saying he's a more astute appointment than the likes of Solskjær for Cardiff - to take a comparison from a manager coming in from the same league backrground. His background should also inspire more than someone that's mainly been an assistant and failed at his only head coaching gig. That his eleven matches in charge at Swansea was a mess isn't something I'm disputing.
