Guest chopey
He will probably be a bit more aggressive towards the hierarchy once this transfer window has closed, he will have nothing to lose. Whats he got to lose now ?
Tiotes Witch Doctor
He will probably be a bit more aggressive towards the hierarchy once this transfer window has closed, he will have nothing to lose. Whats he got to lose now ? Maybe he thinks saying nothing could be the difference between a net spend of -5 million and +5 million I don't really know, perhaps hes been promised funds and is waiting to see before completely burning his bridges. Ankles Bennett
Let's not forget that fat ash has a clause in Rafa's contract that means Rafa has to stump up £6m if he resigns or another club wants him. He's never going to get sacked as the fat parasite would have to pay Rafa off.
ToonArmy1892
We all knew at the end of the summer transfer window that this was going to be one long painfull goodbye season, and that is exactly how it's turning out.
Odear
He’s obviously been told to get on with his job and not talk about the lack of transfers or the imaginary takeover. His “I will not talk about transfers and I will not talk about the takeover” is exactly the same as his “As always I am focused on training and coaching my team“ interview he gave after falling out with Liverpool. The love he gets from the supporters is the only thing keeping that man here.. we’ll along with his salary, but he’s wealthy enough now not to need it. I think as a man of honour he will see out the contract but that will be that, there’s no reason for him to stay.

He’s been told not to mention it. Didn’t he turn up for the press conference in a tracksuit when he was told to just concentrate on the coaching? Darth Crooks
The chronicle podcasts are quite enlightening on the situation. Not usually a fan but I think they are spot on surrounding the politics of it all.

Greg
At what point does he get us on the front foot? Bottom 3? Open attacking play in the Premier League with this set of players will lead to certain relegation. Rafa will do it his way and we'll be okay, just. nufc4eva
It would be suicide for us to play any other way, we just aren't good enough. If we attack we just get picked off and lose our positioning and organisation fairly easily. If we press too high teams are just getting in behind us. We need a shit load invested in midfield to control games more and that can cover the ground
