So for the next incoming 'person' will have loads to contend with:

1) you are not Rafa

2) you can only bring in one assistant/coach

3) we only want you to work with kids under 25/24yrs old

4) you are not Rafa

4) you wont have final say (or any say) on transfers

5) "your" transfer budget will be the lowest in the league

6) as soon as it's goes 'south' you're a dead man walking

7) press/fans will be all over you (goldfish bowl effect for want of a better word)

8) you're not Rafa!

9) a takeover *may* be in the pipeline at some point so probably best just to stay in a hotel

10) you will receive no real support from those above you

11) oh, and you're not one of the best managers in the world!

Anyone taking it either has balls of steel or more likely is a fucking pussy desperate for a fisting.

Perfect for Allardyce as he's got the ego for it.

Would have also been perfect for Pardew but he cries when people sing about him. Probably rules him out.

I think you may be overestimating the professional pride of the average gammon on the managerial carousel. They're getting a payday doing the same mediocre job they've always done. If they fail, the next paycheck isn't far away.

If the worst case scenario happens and we end up with some shitbag yes man and no takeover, I really want to see this turn ugly. Like, super ugly. Violent even. Club shop windows smashed, pitch invasions, arson. The lot. f*** it.

It'd never happen though. Our fanbase has been absolutely Reek'd into submission. A few cucked shop shouting sessions and it's back to business as usual.

Fucking struggling today like.

Overriding emotion is one of pure disgust.

Feel like i've been punched in the gut.

Goodbye, Newcastle United.

Can't sleep, fuming.

Fuck everything.

Not trying to be funny or downplay your suffering or anything but I just find posts like this so odd. This has been going on for 11 years now. If you didn't 100% know this was coming at some stage, you've been very naive. It's like being devastated about your wife's 47th affair having known about the other 46. It's not going to stop anytime soon so I would brace yourself for more heartache or, much more sensibly, just toss it off altogether.

I was never comfortable with Rafa's strategy of trying to use his popularity with the supporters to squeeze concessions out of Ashley. If you don't trust the people you're working with, then go. He's been here three years so he must know who he's working with.

The takeover has complicated things because we really need a caretaker, but there's no-one at the club to fulfil that role. So presumably we're looking at someone who is prepared to come in for what may only be a matter of weeks.

Psst, everyone. This is the same smooth brain that defended Pardew, didn't like Ben Arfa, loved Sammy Ameobi, and regularly slags off Kevin Keegan.

He needs to feel fear in respect of his ownership of the club.

If you recall when he first took us down, he wrote an open letter in the press (the S*n I think from memory) where he cried about his mistakes and about how his family had recieved threats etc and for us not to worry as he was getting rid of it and we'd be shot of him soon etc).

This clearly pacified the masses as he held on to us and consequently made a shitload of cash in the meantime.

My feeling is that he's not felt fear since.

If boycott's won't bother him then other, more aggressive approaches, might.

I'm absolutely staggered he still goes to games and gets next to no stick. Not advocating any violence obviously but what the fuck, he sits there basically with nothing coming his way.

get on with it then. we will watch on whilst you take one for the team and take him out.

People don’t care enough because they still give him money, they ain’t gonna care enough to get a life time ban and a criminal record

I disagree, understand ToonArmy1892 completely. Rafa brought feelings that had been missing for years. Hope, belief, pride, dignity. Those feelings go with him. Many of us started to believe in a bright future for this club, especially with talks of a takeover floating about. A future with Rafa and without Ashley.

Do people remember Ashley's public apology to him on Sky?

I'm sure they'll appoint Allardyce. Think of all the corrupt deals our overlords can freely engage in.

he sacked the one man he really wants. i.e. someone to finish 17th no matter what. the apology is the first step to getting him back.
