Having a go at Everton's defenders on MOTD and lots of coverage of Allardyce slagging them off but why not question the decision to chuck new signing Mangala straight into a back three, away at Arsenal?

Bet Everton fans are absolutely delighted that he’s got them trying to replicate Swansea. “This is what Swansea did, it worked, play like this, ok? Off you go.”

Dyce is doing well, but he will go the way of Moyes and Allardyce ultimately, I think.

Looks good when he has a bunch of lower league unheralded types of players that will run themselves to death, and be happy to do the grunt work.

Put him in charge of more high profile players that are more technical and it will get ugly.

He'll be smart to just stay at Burnley really.

It's a bit of a myth that Burnley play only route one football tbh. They do, but not all the time. At the start of the season their football was very good and very easy on the eye.

They haven't played any decent football for months though. They totally changed their approach once a few results didn't go their way.

Yeah, perhaps. Moyes' Everton looked really good at times too.

They just demand so much defensively. Everyone having to really work their socks off in that regard.

They don't tend to be able to find the right balance, with allowing the right players more freedom.

You could just as easily argue that it changed with injuries.

Injuries as well tbf. I'm not a Moyes hater either FWIW, his stock dropped drastically, but he's still not a bad manager imo, and Everton still happened. Agree that managers like that have a glass ceiling though.

£2 million man ... another tricky left footer with lots of pace and technique.

Kante, Mahrez and now this kid Diabate. All from unheralded French clubs for cheap.

Some people have all the luck.
