Sure we’ll lose but that will be seven Wembley trips in ten years.

 

Mixed feelings about this one. Nice night tonight, but could do without the distraction.

 

Which is, I know, a horrible nu-fan way to think, but I can’t help it

 

Great feeling when that late winner went in though.

We've had 1 in 20 years.

And that was a league game. :lol:

 

This is our longest ever run without a Wembley Final. 21 years and counting...

 

Longest before that was 19 years (1932-51 & 1955-74) and 20 years (1976-96).

Regardless, if we don’t make the FA Cup final this year, next year we’ll have tied our longest run without a final at Wembley/indeed any final (including games at the Crystal Palace etc)

Brentford have been building their team gradually and improving over recent years.

They are sitting in a decent position in the play off places, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were the 3rd team to come up.

They move into their new stadium next season as well.
