As good as Joelinton and Saint-Maximin maybe neither have experience of the PL.. Joelinton has only scored 7 league goals in a season before and St Max's highest in the league is 9.

 

Add to that Almiron not finding the net yet.. the club are taking a massive punt.

You could see in preseason games that we were in for all kinds of trouble with McClaren. I remember watching a preseason game where Rivière played and from then on in I was expecting the worst.
