andycap
Got to be after atleast 30 million for him. We do tend to underate our players Longstaff aswell we are a top end team now not a relegation threatened team. So Willock and Longstaff should fetch a decent fee.
McCormick
I like Willock, but I feel he has 3 games now to save his Newcastle career. At his best he’s an erratic and speedy ball-carrying threat who gets into good goal scoring positions. At his worst though he’s far too clumsy in possession and very tactically naive. If we can somehow replace him with Ramsey and make a PSR profit; that’d be too good to turn down. Personally speaking, I’m rooting for the guy. Menace Posted Sunday at 10:15 Share Posted Sunday at 10:15 Yeah I think the time has come to sell him. Comes back from injury > few games to get up to speed, still underperforms > gets injured again
JT24 Posted Sunday at 10:18 Share Posted Sunday at 10:18 Can’t be relied upon. Certainly on my list to sell. Sad to see but think this is a summer where we have to kick on and get in players who can contribute when we have 2 games a week.
nufc123 Posted Sunday at 10:20 Share Posted Sunday at 10:20 If we can get some money sell. Hes a nice guy but he cant be trusted.

Displayname Posted Sunday at 10:27 Share Posted Sunday at 10:27 Ship off to Saudi. All he got left is his name.
Sibierski Posted Sunday at 10:51 Share Posted Sunday at 10:51 If we were undecided as a club if Willock should be sold, this month has made up their minds IMO. Not good enough for XI but then not reliable enough as a squad option.
David Edgar Posted Sunday at 10:52 Share Posted Sunday at 10:52 £75m to Saudi please.
Nucasol Posted Sunday at 13:22 Share Posted Sunday at 13:22 West Ham or Palace. He’s stuck together with cheese strings, super noodles and broken biscuits.

M1tche Posted Sunday at 14:09 Share Posted Sunday at 14:09 Annoyingly, today was a very Joe Willock type of game in the 2nd half
Optimistic Nut Posted Sunday at 20:24 Share Posted Sunday at 20:24 Hard being critical of anything the season we're having, but when he's played he's not been great, and now injured again. Just need to get what money we can and move on.

The College Dropout
I never understood trying to sell a relatively young player on a low-ebb for cheap unless desperate for money.

TRon
Never mind, just checked and there's a couple of years left so not going to be leaving for a pittance.

Yeah so basically this summer it's shit or get off the pot. It's a no brainer sale for me, obviously contingent upon us replacing him.

When the "low-ebb" has lasted longer than his high performing period then yes.

Agree, already said last week that I have no problem selling Willock and using that money to buy an understudy for Joelinton. Willock has a lot of attributes, but he's out for long periods, then when he does come back in he's had little impact.

If you send him out on loan we need a replacement, may as well sell him and buy a replacement for him.
