LoveItIfWeBeatU
We've got a lot of problems in the squad without a doubt, but one win would have done it, in the last seven games and he couldn't get it. Abysmal You could replace "he" (Carver) with "they" (the team). Our team can't win or draw 1 game out of 7. Well yeah but had we of got Sherwood in on a temp basis, or anyone remotely decent we wouldn't have lost 7 in a row. IO'm not excusing the team but its clear Carver is horribly out of his depth I agree. If Mike Ashley had any sense he'd bring in an experienced, decent manager for the last 4 games to try to save his investment (as he will see it). If we get relegated he can hardly say he did everything to stop it, on the contrary, it seems he's done nothing to stop it.
Pokerprince2004
Leicester were 16 points behind us 3 weeks ago, they could go above us on saturday. Cheers Carver

mrmojorisin75
Carver takes a lot of the blame, as does the rest of the club hierarchy and especially Mike Ashley but it's also true that our team seems to be made up of a lot of gutless players who don't seem to have any spirit, fight or professional pride. I'm sure if most Championship teams had played our last 7 fixtures they would have picked up some points which is more than our team has. see the thing I don't understand about this argument is that we went down without a fight with Nolan, barton, colo, jonas etc. last time yet when we came back up they were lauded as the backbone of the team that meant we had the fight to get back up now we're headed down again (so to speak) yet this group of players clearly don't have the fight.. football is littered with examples of teams with good players that just go down - are they all lazy, spineless forrin kernts or is there perhaps more to it than that? Minhosa
Sunderland will beat Chelsea. Aye. Mackems will still pick up a minimum of 6 points yet.

Beren
I'm at a 2. Until we are statistically relegated it shouldn't be higher than 3. Quit reaching for your razors [/inochi]

Guest Roger Kint
A week ago I was at a 1 or 2, now I'm at a 5. About the same really. With SDJ, Cisse, Sissoko, Dummett and possibly Aarons coming back i have enough confidence in us to fight the Carver effect

AyeDubbleYoo
I wouldn't put it at 50/50 yet, it's still significantly more likely we'll stay up. Still scary mind.
NUFC_Chris
If we don't get 2 or 3 points from Leicester (a) WBA (h) QPR (a) and West Ham (h) you'd have to say we deserve to go down really. That, and only Blackpool have a worse record than us in 2015 in the football league.
gdm
The players coming back especially de Jong who is more of a captain than any of them is giving me small hope we will get 2-3 points
Karjala
Taking us out of their results, the mackems have won 1 game in 20. What makes everyone think they will win 2 of their last 5? We need a win like, that's for sure.
NUFC_Chris
It's just what happens sometimes at this stage of the season. Who'd have thought Leicester would win their last 4 games in a row, and Hull their last 2? Just saying.
Darth Crooks
The players have no fight because of complacent leadership from owner down. A complacent headteacher can't blame his teachers or a like minded police commissioner blame his officers if their aims and goals don't matter. The players are at fault but unlike the likes of Steve Howey; I believed the director and coach are so so much more massively responsible.
