aussiemag
Anyone know much about him? Seems Forest transfer strategy has been to target South Americans.

aussiemag
If he was the guy who signed Shelvey and Wood from us. Then no thanks.
Keegans Export
Quote Crucially, and this is the remit Nolans are working to, he has Premier League experience. Key quote imo. Leaves a fairly small pool of potential candidates.

Seems he joined just after, in March 23 - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65258735 Shelvey and Wood went to Forest in Jan 23. Filippo Giraldi seems to be the legend who bought Shelvey and Wood off us. Article does say he came from Rangers and their fans had been critical of some of his signings. But every fanbase loves a moan tbf.

Bunk Moreland
Supposedly Rangers fans didn't think much of his recruitment strategy, and signed a fair few duds at Southampton - although also some notable successes too like Van Dijk :https://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/23507654.look-back-ross-wilsons-recruitment-southampton-rangers/ Done very well at Forest though, can't deny that. Been good at player trading and signed some gems for low fees. Imagine his remit would involve less target identification here with Howe and Nickson on top of that though. kingxlnc
If he's the genius that took Anderson and foisted Vlad on us for £20m - I say sign him up! He owes us big time.

Danh1
Find it hard to get excited about a sporting director coming in. Thought Ashworth and Mitchell were both exciting appointments, but doesn’t seem like the DOF model is going to work here.
SUPERTOON
Tbf, I expected this appointment to wait until we had a new CEO place. Guess it can’t wait forever though.

CEO more important for me, as that’s the revenue driver which will have more of an impact on our progress than whatever a DoF does.
