Something you’d expect from the Newcastle media team, not Craig Hope.

Sloppy late 90s cut and paste job is far superior to those trendy matchday graphics the club come up with tbf

Positives: We’ve secured a key piece to our youth recruitment

Negatives: He’s had a lobotomy

Who says they’re the best in the business? Genuine question.

chelsea have taken most of Brighton’s and they’ve been a disaster.

all the clamour for Richard Hughes from Bournemouth and he has made a right pigs ear of last summer.

the magic at those clubs is in the data model, not the individuals, imo.

Are they that great anyway? Bournemouth have never had Europe before qualifying this season and Brighton qualified for the second time after this season.

Good for them both, they're well run clubs but once you're established in the Premier League then it's not too difficult to stay mid-table like they have for the vast majority of their time. They're not that much different to Palace, Brentford and Fulham too in that regards.

Yes they've done well in the market but people also forget their failures.

On a serious note we seem to have an impressive scouting network now.

Paul Midgley (Head of Youth Recruitment) - ex Man City/Leeds

Paul McLaren (Head of UK Scouting u13-u18) - ex Man City/Arsenal

Wesley Awad (Head of Academy Recruitment) - ex Palace/Birmingham

James Fowler (Scouting Operations Manager) - ex Rangers

Claire Burrows (Recruitment Operations Manager) - ex Leicester

Middle-aged-white-male-tastic though.

It’s non-inclusive statements like this that sicken me. It’s hard enough being a white middle aged white man as it is, what with all its stigmas and associations. Anyway, I’m off to wolf-whistle female joggers and reminisce about when kitchens were strictly the domain of the domestic housewife.

Ask a black british male I must agree. It's comments like theirs that undo all my hard work in trying to improve diversity and inclusion by helping my white male comrades to be included and fully valued in society.
