Lads, there’s no way that happens. [emoji38]

Love me some Eddie, but change is coming.

Why are we acting like it's fantasy stuff that Howe could have a good season next year?

Last summer transfer window is what has me feeling so down and dejected about the club at the moment. Being constantly told we can't afford to make a mistake in the transfer market due to PSR and more or less making mistakes with every signing bar Thiaw. Just don't see the spend required due to PSR, don't see Eddie changing the players he wants to target and don't see how the situation is going to get better and just see us falling behind in a way that we can't recover from. I mean we look like a relegation team, and that's with all the new players bedded in.

The next manager will make the most of Woltemade. He isn't a bad player.

I'm fucking gutted, The new owners saved us and the new rules fucked us, But gifting  our rivals millions for sub par players while competing while we get checked has fucked me off, And then taking fucking ages getting in a dof etc leaves me with a sour taste. We are going backwards like spurs and man u did

They were much better than us in terms of gameplan, press and looking a threat.

To an extent, but I also think it looks that way because they have players who look comfortable on the ball and we don’t. I don’t think they really threatened that much but they did press well. Again because we don’t have any press resistant players.

Think it’s inevitable he will go, that was bad. Whoever sanctioned our summer spending also needs binning.

We've chosen to do that though. Eddie wants a Track & Field XI and isn't interested in good footballers. It worked well for a few years but it's killing us now.

Do what? Sell some of the absolute garbage we've bought? I'm sure they will try aye but we might not be able

Well Yeah. Clearly things haven't gone to plan with the signings and the season as a whole. Still trust and want him as manager next season, though.

Agreed, always said I wanted a transition in style. But I also believed that Howe’s style could work and he was trying to evolve a bit. Just think the complete failure of nearly every player we signed has hit us very hard.

And if they don't?

He might not even be here when they arrive...

Seasons gone. Let's do something different and have some patience with the one fella that's fucking won something for us.

I dont have the answer, but its also dangerous to go into a new season at the back of a full rot end to the season.

Toyed with the idea of needing change since February and that’s only crystallised since the Derby performance/result and the two performances/results since. What’s being served up is risible.

Howe clearly needs another few months out of the game. He's lost his spark and ran out of ideas. Feels like he needs a reset.

Don't think he's been the same since he had pneumonia. That really drains you.

That looks like it's it imo. Didn't see all of the match today but what I did see was just more of the same dross that's been served up for months now. Same mistakes, same formation, same lack of desire and fight, same lack of marking, sloppy passing, shocking wing play and virtually zero threat going forward. There's usually a match that gets remembered as being 'the one' that tipped the balance in the crowd and I think that one today (on the heels of the derby surrender) has done it for him.

I think there's a decent chance that the players have given up on him and have just got sick of hearing the same things from the same voices, game after game, month after month - the whole club feels either stale, dysfunctional or just generally broken and I don't think Howe's got enough left in the tank to fix it.

My prediction is that we'll get a fucking good hiding at Arsenal and he'll be sacked or mutually consented a few days later. The club will limp on until the end of the season and we'll finish 15th. Fair play to those who still believe and have a bit of positivity but I can't see a single area that's positive about the club - we look like a club in freefall and some of the people apparently who are running the gaff day-to-day need to walk too. It's been a shitshow of a season and I can't wait for it to be over - genuinely abysmal stuff

He could, but you’d have to think the results right now are not in favour of him getting that opportunity. The manner in which we lose is not what we’ve come to expect from him. Unfortunately, when teams underperform, the easiest solution is to sack the one managing it.

He’s got the rest of the season to save his job, if he even wants it.

And some act like none of the other options will be able to come in and do better.
