Love how he just outright ignored this given the answer wasn't what he was blatantly hoping for

What? It's clearly shows what im saying. It's averaging 60 points a season.

It's decent, but thats it considering the money we have spent.

Spurs and Man Utd having a couple of shitty seasons doesn't change that.

Sure, if you divorce yourself from all context. Over the last 3 years we've had the 7th highest net spend in the league - in that time Howe has had us hitting that or higher each season, and the season he "only" matched it was when we had an insane injury crisis and a squad unable to cope with a European adventure after decades of chronic underinvestment (hence why we've even had to spend as much as we have since the takeover). Oh and we've hit 2 cup finals and won a trophy in that time too.

Howe has, and continues to do a magnificent job with the cards he's dealt. It's way beyond "decent".

60 points pretty much averages 7th place.

I'm was only talking about his last two and a half seasons, so 1 cup final.

And i reiterate, his overall time here is without a doubt a major success.

But I'm seeing very little improvement from our first European campaign. Infact it looks worse this season and I'm a little scared of what will happen in December which was when we completely fell apart last time.

This season ended in August. I don't hold any long term ill will to the shitfests and disasterclasses we're going to have from now until May. The man won a fucking cup, no one can name a single manager who would come in and do better and he gets the fucking club. He embodies who we aspire to be. Did he fuck up this month? Like a motherfucker. He's too loyal and a bit too arrogant to think it'll always work out and he needs to learn when to pull the cord on the parachute. He's going to learn that by losing games. We have a European pedigree cup winning manager that is ONLY FORTY SEVEN YEARS OLD. He's going to be in his mental prime for TWENTY YEARS and people want him gone. We deserved Alan Pardew and Steve Bruce.

Ah shit sorry, only the 1 cup final and trophy.

My bad, #HoweOut

You guys are so cute when you come with this #HoweOut whenever people aren't blindly accepting that he always overachieves.

I'm not #Howeout for the record, like i just fucking said on the previous page.

Four years of consistent overachieving and a few bad performances and people have their knives out. Tough being a manager. Any team can go through a bad patch. Give it time.

Aye but we haven't over-achieved. Didn't you realize that two CL finishes, two cup finals and a first trophy since my 82 year old dad was in middle school, having beaten every top team along the way to do it, is really only about par mate.

There isn't a coherent argument to say that Howe hasn't overachieved, even your arbitrary 2.5 year timeframe still has him finishing par for the spending despite an injury crisis.

It's not arbitrary, I'm questioning if he have what it takes to move us forward after he made an unbelievable start with us. Considering how it ended at Bournemourh. Looking at the last 1,5 years wouldn't have made a difference anyways.

All teams have a injury cricis at certain points.

He just lost his main striker and not only has to bed in his replacement, but the other striker got injured.

Unfair to question if he has what it takes while that's the case.

He's got us back into Europe AND won a trophy.

Not even Keegan did that.

Should create an open poll so we can gauge the amount spangles that want him sacked

Not ruling out that I'm jumping the gun a little bit. Hopefully so.

Wouldn't be the first time.
