Superior Acuña
What's he done that's disgraceful from our perspective? Aye cheating on his wife is pure shit but don't think that's our business. Getting mortal on a saturday night when he's not in the squad currently is not ideal behaviour but it's hardly disgraceful or makes him a waste of space. Erikse
Getting shitfaced in the middle of the season is not something we would brush off as a small thing if it was just about any other player. Not going to call him a waste of space, but it's pretty bad really. Obviously he is in a bad place, though, so you've got to feel for him.
ExiledGeordie
Move him on in Jan and get him off the wage bill to help bring a new winger in. We have Tino and Krafth as back up. Edited November 7 by ExiledGeordie

Theregulars
The morality police put in force again I see. How dare a player get drunk; he must be cancelled and declared immoral. Let the poor dude drown his sorrows if he wants to, most of us have done the same when we made a mistake or had difficult personal circumstances. If he was a decade younger you could forgive him, not at his age and seniority. Disgraceful behaviour from our on pitch captain. Had hoped he'd be here forever and get into coaching. Now I can't wait to see the back of him. fucking waste of space. Clearly on the path to self destruction. Needs sacking for going out the house looking like thst as well. What absolute drivel

Just the usual virtue signalling that comes along with a scandal-obsessed and privacy-invasive media and society. So weird and pointless to turn on your own players for doing things that we literally all do. “Oh, he’s a footballer and he must therefore always set a pristine example!” Should he fuck. If he wants to get pissed while injured then he can do so, he’s a grown ass man.

Cheating on your wife and mother of your children is pretty reprehensible on the face of it. But I don’t know all the ins and outs and it’s hardly a rare thing in society. I’ve made terrible mistakes and done things I’m ashamed of in the past (not that, thankfully). Not sure just assuming he is a scumbag and wanting the club to jettison him is a stance I would agree with at all. If he is going to be disruptive and constantly ‘injured’. Then fair enough, you get rid. But nothing he has done has really suggested that. It was only a month or two ago most were saying we’re a much better side with him in it. Tross
Players were out every neet in the 90s man. If social media didn't exist it would still be the same. Live and let live, go on tripps la.
Groundhog63
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Being an absent, part-time parent is an absolute cunt of a gig. Might be slightly more depressing if it's from zero fault of one's own compared to being caught on the side but that's some "can't do the Time? Don't do the Crime" level of inspect. Given his occupation it's not even like he can have the bairns every other weekend etc etc type arrangement. I feel for the man, regardless of his transgressions. But players getting wankered whilst injured is not really optimal from a recovery standpoint that’s before you even consider the optics.

mouldy_uk
The club should absolutely support him (and all the squad) the best they can as he’s obviously going through a tough phase. Yes that support can only go so far, but there is a duty of care for any organisation. I find it a little odd that some people want him booted but Tonali got comparatively little grief on here (which was good to see). I appreciate they are two completely different set of circumstances. McCormick
Having a mad sesh is probably not ideal for his recovery buts it’s not a mortal sin, man. In any case, what he gets up to in his personal life is none of our business (illegal activities aside); so long as he performs when he gets on the pitch. Elliottman
Probably more a case of how often it’s happening rather than an isolated incident. Get the impression it wasn’t exactly a one off.

I don't really care what he does as long as he performs for us when fit. It's still unprofessional though.
