I mean.. This season hasn't been full of injuries. But it's hard to deny that it's the same few most of the time.

Pope, Wilson, Isak, Joelinton, Willock and Botman for instance. Botman is still a bit of a doubt in that category admittedly, but we'll see.

Need him back asap not only for his defending, but just as importantly for his passing. Currently both Burn (and this season) Schar are a massive liability with their passing.

The amount of times we have giving the ball back to the opposition due to inaccurate passing has been really alarming. Burn usually attempts to give the ball to the full backs or his fellow central defender, but for some reason the last month he has had a brain freeze and thinks he's prime Beckenbauer. Both are also guilty of giving the ball back to Pope too much, which again usually results in the ball being given back to the opposition due to the obvious deficiencies of Pope's kicking.

Our midfield are being starved of the ball at times or given the ball in high pressurised situations (I'm not saying that the midfielders have not been an issue either when running to find space. Botman has the ability of playing the ball through the opposition midfield and set us up in attack in a promising position (I acknowledge pre operation this wasn't always prevalent either, but it's now accepted he was playing for two months when he shouldn't have been.

I mean he came back after a serious knee injury, and went straight in deep end playing hard minutes. Not surprised he’s broken back down and probably be a managed job till end of season at best.

It’s Steve Bruce with Lejuene all over again.

Rushed back and flogged for two games before being crocked again.

To be fair doesn't sound like it was a game injury, more one picked up during training - also looks like potential surgery for him inal.

Edit; will be more specific - went to ping a ball in training and some of the bone in his knee has loosened so needs to go under the knife to fix it back into place.

So it’s gone from potential surgery to definitely needing surgery within paragraph?

Depends if you define it as surgery or not really - just a few metal rods or similar if owt - no 'major' surgery if you get my drift.

Errr. No. Not really

So this bone that fell off his knee  is this his bad knee or his good one? Is it bone avulsion caused by a ligament or tendon coming away? What sort of surgery? Are they putting ‘a few metal rods in’ or not?

It’s all very specifically vague.

Opposite knee to the one he had just injured the other month. To quote it '*coach* reckons he's pinged a ball in training and a bit of bone in his knee has dislodged/loosened off'

Well I know from experience you can end up with bits of bone in your knee when you do a ligament such as your ACL as it can pull some bone away with it when it ruptures.

Hoping this is some kind of Twitter ITK stuff, as in it is utter nonsense. Or that you’re on the wind up. Otherwise we are absolutely fucked at CB and light at LB with Hall missing and all.
