Optimistic Nut Posted yesterday at 16:15 Share Posted yesterday at 16:15 Rare example of a signing who didn't work out in the end but got a soft spot for.
Menace Posted yesterday at 16:16 Share Posted yesterday at 16:16 Soft spot for what? He was paid handsomely for years for not much output. He was a poor signing.

He did play a big part in keeping us up tbf. Our defence was outstanding second half of that season.
Yorkie Posted yesterday at 16:22 Share Posted yesterday at 16:22 Started more games in five months on loan than in four years as a permanent player. Remarkable how badly it went for him here really, which is a shame cos he's clearly a decent player and definitely could've contributed down the years. Sounds like he had a really good time at Boro so hopefully they can make that happen.

Came in played well and kept us up. Signed permanently, got injured and eventually lost his place to a local lad that would go on to be a club legend. Sounds like hes a canny lad and not a pick of bother.
bobbydazzla Posted yesterday at 17:08 Share Posted yesterday at 17:08 (edited) Would have played more games for us if he wasn’t so flaky Edited yesterday at 17:08 by bobbydazzla
BlueStar Posted yesterday at 17:17 Share Posted yesterday at 17:17 As an eczema sufferer I do have sympathy for him like, I know it sounds like a minor ailment but as soon as you start sweating it itches and stings like fuck and must put you off your game. Plus all the inflammation and cracked dry skin makes you feel sick and restricts your movement.
bobbydazzla Posted yesterday at 17:45 Share Posted yesterday at 17:45 (edited) It’s a bit like hayfever. Everyday ailment for plenty of folk but radge as fuck for a minority of sufferers. Sometimes in the summer I can’t even leave the house because the pollen fucks me up so bad, it’s like having a massive panic attack whilst someone’s twiddles tickling sticks up my nose and pours ground pepper in my eyes. No way I could left back for NUFC on those days. Edited yesterday at 17:46 by bobbydazzla
