Don't know about that like :) - I mean, with zero goals and one assist he wasn't exactly winning it alone.  His reckless challenge vs Cameroon meant he had a direct hand in as many goals against as for.  Quality footballer of course, but I think rose-tinted specs are in force there.

Perhaps, but I'd be claiming two assists. Belgium and the through ball for Lineker's penalty winner v Cameroon. I get that probably doesn't officially count, but it should 🙂

There's a reason he came back to hysteria, wasn't just the tears and plastic tits.

Hithere reckons he smells of horse shit. Haven't verified yet.

Don’t actually know much of Keith’s posts. I tend to avoid PF where possible though. After any defeat it’s the absolute pits.

I think a lot of football forums are like that, tbh. Keith is a daft cunt and he stinks of tabs, burnt hair and sweat.

More lies, it stinks all the way that tickets are being made available to a school miles away when 000's are missing out - they are not for free though. I see they're also bringing up Ashley giving away 10,000 season tickets again, despite the fact that the actual average was over 46,000 at the time when he did that. That average has only been beaten (just) three times in their entire history.

As I said any Newcastle fan with a decent knowledge on our history, could sign up and have a multi-page meltdown with their support, after being schooled on their bullshit made up lies. Never be allowed to happen though, as there would be an immediate ban by the coward mods.

No it was due to the full allocation not being taken by the club on a couple of occasions, had fuck all to do with selling out. There has also been a couple of times in the Premier League when Everton have not sold their full allocation either. As for the part they always sell out, well well well:

Everton at Sunderland when they weren't doing very well under Roberto Martinez. Less than 1k turned out.

As I said, even a semi knowledge NUFC fan could have an absolute field day on there and send them in an absolute meltdown, as their total bullshit is shown up. Never happen though, as no point in signing up when you know their coward mods would immediately push the ban button.

Think we averaged over 51,000 in the Championship under Ashley. Don't think Everton have ever averaged that. Certainly didn't when they were winning things, struggled to get over 30,000 winning the title and struggled to get 20,000 the season after.

We've had a higher average than Everton every year since the PL started.

There's a reason they moved to a 52,000 capacity new White Hart Lane and not something bigger.

Still remember our first season back in the Prem in 93/94. We went down to Goodison in the December, beat them 2-0. Think the crowd was around 25,000 and that's only because they gave us 6k tickets and we sold the lot. They were getting sub 15k crowds for Premier League football around that time against the likes of Southampton.

Things change.

Went there mid 80s first game, we had a huge following with a shit team (as usual), and they were Champions. Over 40k there.

Everton are no different to any other club, no matter what they or their Mackem friends say. Successful clubs attract crowds.

Shite teams, not so much.

Game before was 13,000 against Southampton (think our lowest PL gates is 20k higher than that and only because of capacity). Their gates in the early 80s were similar. Either side of their glory era of the mid80s is represented by many sub20k crowds.
