Whilst I'd love what you say to be valid, clubs can't just allocate trophies to each other. 

 

It's an undeniable fact that the club which won the FA Cup moved to Milton Keynes and now plays as MK Dons. That is the club which won the FA Cup, as distasteful as what happened after is. I don't really care what PR stunts have happened since.

Of course they can, or do Rangers not have any of their trophies as they are a new club? it was recognised that AFC Wimbledon were the continuation of Wimbledon football club. It should have been instantaneous that the heritage and IP went to them.

That would suit the Mackems though. I honestly feel like they could get a decent crowd for the home leg, Boro less so. Boro would only take numbers if they go to Wembley, and I think it’s only there with the occasion possibly getting to them could Boro beat them, not a chance over 2 legs though.

I actually want Leeds to come up. They are probably the only team in with a shout of going up who I’d want up, maybe Coventry aside.

Surely they’d more or less sell out, shit chants or not? Just had a look and they were about 5k short of capacity for the league game, which I think was a Monday night.

 

If they can’t better that Steve Gibson may as well give up.

To be fair to RTG, it's nailed on the in a Wear/Tees final our name would come up, we get mentioned in loads of games now which have nowt to do with us. It not our fault large sections of the media have mentionitis.There is no " magedia", their invention to excuse why they are a football irrelevance now.

 

But then why care, I am about to watch Villa/Forest and they could mention Sunderland 20 times and I wouldn't care, might give me a bit of a laugh.

 

Their hatred of us dominates the forum, to the extent they had to create an online shame dungeon to store it, then pad it out with meaningless other threads.

Whoever comes up (unless it Mackems) I just hope they actually bring something to the league. Two seasons in a row the promoted sides have gone down. This current 3 are embarrassing and yes, I’m well aware Leicester now beat us as a result of this post.

Think copying Forest’s blueprint is the only way to do it now. Fuck PSR off for first year and take the punishment the next year when you have a squad strong enough to stay up with a deduction.

They beat Chelsea at home in the Semi Final of the League Cup last season. Don't ask why but I was at that match and have to say the atmosphere was electric.
