Tell you what these will tear us a new one in the derby.

If we played them this weekend, aye, they'd beat us. Not tank us, but they'd win no bother.

Hopefully we have a few players back, bit lore likely gave even more out, just the way it goes.

The rubbish on the pitch (the actual rubbish like empty crisp packets and the like) - is that just something they’re proud of and willing to accept. Sure you don’t see it at other grounds, or if you do, it’s not as bad as the SoL.

It's such a weird one. We know they're scruffy bastards, but you'd think they wouldn't want everyone else knowing.

I do think they'd beat us if we were playing them next week at their place like. Not that they're any great shakes but I've got no confidence in us getting any sort of result away from home at the minute. They're a much better side than West Ham are and they beat us pretty comfortably.

West Ham won't win again this year,  it was more we made them look good on Sunday.

A month is a long time in football but have to agree I think our much vaunted midfield would struggle against Xhaka and Sadiki at the moment.

Give owa.

Tbf they struggled against a lad making his PL debut on Sunday and I remember Longstaff certainly getting the upper hand on them when we played Leeds so it's hardly beyond the realms of reality.

They'll up their game for it and it'll all be tickety-boo.

I had to laugh on Sunday, listening to Colin Murray on 5live. They were doing occasional reports from South Shields' game. He asked his guests if they knew where South Shields was?

One said, at a guess, somewhere near Manchester?

No, he said, it's near Newcastle!

RTG would have been in meltdown!
