Are you sure? That’s not a resale period or anything, it’s just general.

So anyone who buys an official ticket at any time has to be a member?

Did not know that.

Thats annoying, I would be basically paying 30 quid + ticket price for a one time thing. I was back in the UK for 2 weeks last year paid my membership and missed out on 2 ballots. Frustrating system.

Yep, quite sure you cant officially buy a ticket now unless you are a member

There's no genral sale as such

From the Tickets page

"The only place to purchase tickets for Newcastle United men’s fixtures is book.newcastleunited.com

All home matches are on-sale exclusively to Official Mags, Mags + and Junior members. Join the membership today!"

I was having this discussion with @LFEE the other day. I think some of the wording used is a bit confusing, he disagrees.

Although @AyeDubbleYoo, as someone who tries for virtually every game, being slightly confused might back me up 😂

In the grand ticketing scheme of things, it’s hardly the biggest problem mind.

I guess because I always queue for general sale at a specific time, I think of it as a moment that’s over on that day.

Hadn’t considered that it continues up until the match, so every ticket sale is included.

Ah OK, thought maybe for random tickets outside of the general sale you didn’t need one. Interesting.

Where you been Ian [emoji38]

In short any tickets you buy from the club you need to have a membership but any tickets you are buying off members you just need a members number or email address depending on the type of ticket they are selling.

Worth clarifying that if you’re getting a season ticket transferred to you rather than buying one in a resale, you don’t need to be a paid up member

Just having a supporter account will do the trick

Like I said, I always get mine on the morning the resale (general sale) opens, so rarely think about tickets after that.

Great. I assume I got distracted during work and never ended up submitting my ballot application. Can't find the entry confirmation anywhere in my inbox.  Dipshit.
