When they announced the cancellation of those season tickets they mentioned that they have a couple of other buckets of season ticket holders and never who are under review and suspicion.

Well that can’t possibly be right, because the email people received on Monday said they were next in line in the ballot. And the ballot is totally random isn’t it ?

 

And the club wouldn’t lie about that would they ?

 

And the club wouldn’t change a ticket buying process behind the scenes without telling anyone they were changing the ticket buying process, would they ? 

And the club don’t black ball people who email them to complain about ballots, so the black balled member enters 50 ballots and the only one they win is Bradford in the cup, would they ?

Bit of a she says, he says but my dog walking pal's just told me one of her colleagues from school (not Scottish, not Private 😂) bagged 3 x Barca yesterday via the box office. Apparently part of the bunch taken back.

If your dogging pals colleague from school applied for 3 x tickets in the original ballot and then got one of the “next in line” emails that were sent out y’day, then that would explain it

Also, when the whole ballot process was first introduced they had something like 

 

"If any tickets are still available after the initial ballot window another ballot will be run and successful members notified"

 

So it appears they've reverted to that and not told anyone 🤷

Have they just reverted to this method due to unprecedented numbers of attempts to get tickets by bots/touts?

 

If so, kinda understandable, but why do it in apparent stealth? Just issue a brief statement to say this is what’s being done and why. Even if people don’t agree with it, they’d at least know where they stand, and you wouldn’t have had loads of people wasting their time in this limbo state.

Their refusal to communicate is more infuriating than the change in process 

 

And as an aside, the reason we have so many bots and touts is because they sell unlimited, unvetted memberships with tickets that can be transferred via email and the chickens have come home to roost

this is from the comms sent out when the ballot process was vert first introduced

 

"If you are unsuccessful in the ballot 
Should supporters be unsuccessful in their selected price category, they will be able to re-enter a ballot should any unallocated tickets remain available. 

They will also be eligible to purchase any seats put up for re-sale by season ticket holders.  Any seats that are put up for re-sale can be viewed and purchased online. They cannot be purchased over the phone or in person. "

Between tickets being touted and multiple ballots, i think they're going to end up with tickets leftover for this. Which is ridiculous.

This is exactly the type of stuff we need from mainstream media. The more it starts becoming a high ticket news issue, the more difficult it is for clubs / the PL / government to not do anything about the ticket reseller sites.
