Hopefully Pedro is a smoke screen and our real target is someone else

Smokescreen who we’ve 100% identified as a target and bid for 🤣

We have to face the fact we can’t compete with Chelsea etc in terms of wages and fee (at this moment in time) and probably next 4-5 years until we increase turnover

We could end up with a better player elsewhere but in terms of smokescreen (nah nee chance)

Eddie low balled a bid knowing it'll be rejected hoping Chelsea would take the bait

I really don’t understand Chelsea’s squad one bit. Does JP play as their main CF? Or is that Delap? Palmer is infinitely their best 10 and they have Neto and Madueke on the wings. But maybe it isn’t?

Yes! Sorry. With Sterling there, Jackson there, and Mudryk about to get banned.

first off, fuck Fulham for falling apart at 1-0 late and Liverpool for that joke of a performance after they won the title.

I would assume back up for Palmer and Gittens for a year, prevent a direct rival getting him in their first team, then flog him to Saudi next year.

Wonder what happens with Sterling next season. Can’t see anyone buying him so it’ll either be a loan or a bomb squad special

some Saudi club will sign him for 40m

Backup 10. And an option upfront and wide. Legit. An option.

I hate how they have sold a women’s team and hotel to affiliated parties and that counts to help them with their spending. I hate that is allowed to happen and yet since we Can’t do that we have to sell 2 promising youngsters; 1 we developed and the other we scouted and sent to the perfect place to learn and develop (both are true footballing acts). But hey Chelsea can do some cute loophole bullshit and he ok. Fuck off with that man.

reality is that if we didn’t have to do those sales, we’d have already signed JP or our Cb by now because we had Anderson and Minteh ready to step in or already in the rotation.

I reckon Palmer will be hoyed out on the wing to accommodate that horrible cunt Enzo in the 10 and Lavia-Caicedo in CM

Nothing stopping the club selling assets to itself.

Stop being a victim. If PIF were determined too they would ruin the PL with us.

From what I have seen of him I would agree. However, I just can't see it happening. He is surely going to be out of our budget for transfer fee/wages combined and one of the big boys would jump in if we were able to get it to be affordable.

If Simons isn't the alternative for Pedro, it does make you wonder who is. Not really been many names bandied about, even the Simons rumours have been half hearted at best.

There's no victimhood in pointing out where something is so deliberately fucking bent, like. It's a fucking outrage and an absolute affront to fair competition.

We are owned by a nation state.

We signed the AC Milan captain in an offer deemed too good to turn down. We signed Isak after Betis finished 6th in La Liga and we finished 11th.

If our owners wanted.  They could buy assets into Newcastle and sell it to themselves. They have the financial resources.

We can hate the game. But it’s futile hating the players when we are one. And one of the worst if we’re being honest from a worldwide perspective.

We're nowhere near Chelsea's way of fucking playing.

They should have folded when the bent Russian fucked off.

They've been insulated from suffering the effects of their rule bending and consistent underperformance on the pitch. There's not another club in world football that can finish outside European spots and then slash 200 million+ for central midfielders

What have Betis got to do with this?
