BBCSport: Germany have lost 4-1 to the United States tonight, if that's of any comfort to England supporters!

 BBC thinks that Germany and England are on the same level. Should be looking at what Ukraine did.

We did it  :frantic:

Hope Johnson is okay for qualifiers.

That the final score ? If so, well done. Germany get beat about as often as we win trophies, it seems !  :cheesy:

Wasn't it a really weak Germany team playing? In a friendly against Klinsmans USA? Good result all the same, the Yanks should have a top 10 footballing side within the next 5-10 years, they have pumped enough money into the youth side of things and the MLS is really starting to grow positively.

It is only a matter of time, MLS will be one of the top 5 leagues in the world within 10/15 years. A lot of money there, not like there isn't in places like Russia or now France, but they have the glitz and glamour too and they have been making the right moves in youth development for years, which is now becoming pretty evident.

Shame there was no way of letting the winners into the Copa Libertadores or Champions League.

There's discussions within CONEMBOL right now as to allowing MLS teams participate in the Libertadores from 2015 onwards.
