Most likely scenario is new contract with 230k pw with a release clause and gentleman's agreement allowing him to leave next summer for a big fee. Win-win for all parties involved. I'm sure he'll survive another season with us playing Champions League football and competing for domestic trophies Just look at how brutal the striker market is now.
