I just dont see the Saudis allowing him to go to the scousers after the disrespect they and Isak have shown here, they'll let him rot. Plus like I said earlier, the club aren't confident any of the strikers left on the market are elite or potentially elite enough to replace him.

Might take a few weeks but he'll swallow his pride and come back with his tail between his legs.

Imo 130+10 easily achievable add-ons will be a good deal. I personally don't see how he could be reintegrated back to the team. 140m is loads of money if we reinvest wisely it could close the gap between us and the likes of Arsenal, City and Liverpool. On the bright side, Liverpool with Isak will take plenty of points off our CL rivals like Chelsea and Villa and indirectly help us for another top 5 finish.

£130m + £10m doesn't really get us that much after amortisation and sell on clause.

I don't know much about how those finances work so I asked ChatGPT 5. Apparently if we sell for 130+10, we can still profit about 96m after sell-on clause (-14m) and amortisation (-30m). 96m is a massive profit after getting few good years from him and him played a pivotal role in our top 5 finish + cup trophy. I hope Isak will apologise and willing to stay for another year but that does not look likely at the moment.

The narrative is starting to alter. More talk of him staying again from Alex Crook and Ben "the toucher" Jacobs.

Few reports he’s waiting for Liverpool to say they cant get him and he will stay.

It looks pretty much set in stone when you take emotion out of it, we're not getting a suitable replacement in now. Once he realises there's no way out for him, if not before it will be on 2nd September, then he will have no choice but to come crawling back and Howe will integrate him back in the team.

After all of this what are people thoughts on the Jota thing. I thought we were doing a minutes silence of something?

Easy for me to say as I won’t be there but I’m all for ignoring it, not actively going against it, just ignoring it.

Not sure if they’re expecting a minutes silence tour of the country but after all of this they can get to fuck. Self-righteous cunts.

I’m not sure why there would be a minutes silence given that there was one yesterday and there will be one at Anfield for their first home game. Surely they won’t be doing it throughout the season?

From where??

Ben Jacobs today on TalkSPORT. Essentially it’s going to be he either signs for Liverpool or stays with an improved deal if they give up for this window

I don’t know who issue the ultimatum though. May be just the usual Ryder talk shit

What the fuck is that tweet? "No serious offer - no transfer"

What does that even mean? Were we otherwise supposed to accept non-serious offers?

IF he stays, I expect a carefully crafted charm offensive to re-integrate him (e.g the bad agent made me do it)

Lol that would be such a pathetic excuse. You think fans, other players, Howe and the higher ups will buy that? Hope I am wrong but I don't think it is good for the team if he stays around. He has shown an utter lack of commitment and disrespect to the club with his behaviour. Howe made the comment that he only wants players who want to be here and that remark is quite telling I think. If the club gets a decent enough offer like 135 or 140m + at least 1 striker in (e.g. Wissa), I can see we would be quite willing to get rid of him

There’s another tweet on that same Anfield account where Isaks stance is to refuse to integrate himself again or sign a new deal, until it’s certain Liverpool won’t be coming back. Honestly if true, send the cunt away on loan to Turkey or something.

Either he gets Liverpool to up the offer, or he must come to the realisation that he stays and act accordingliy going forward.

Would be my reading.

It’s all fecking make believe, he will not completely burn his bridges as we won’t. They can’t afford him, and we don’t have time to buy the right replacements as we’d need 2 strikers, that aren’t both tied up with ACON so the market isn’t there. It’ll happen next summer.

How can anyone other than Isak possibly know that? There's absolutely no way he would actually say that out loud to anyone.
