If it was the Irish guy who owns Peterborough then he would say that, because he's a massive Liverpool fan.  He said something along the lines of "Newcastle should just cut their losses and sell Isak for £120 or £130m and then sign Nicholas Jackson - it's a no brainier!". He's been on several times and always comes across as being full of self-importance, he's like a Poundland version of Simon Jordan.

He's a Liverpool fan so of course he's been peddling the nonsense narrative that we should sell him on the cheap and just get in Nicolas Jackson. What an utter knob!

What's really irked me about this saga is that people don't understand market value. Every Liverpool fan balks at the £150m value, but what they fail to understand is that we don't NEED to sell, therefore we'll only consider offers way above market value.

The same way Chelsea don't need to sell Palmer. Others clubs probably value him around £100m, but because Chelsea don't need to sell him they'd probably only entertain offers above £200m.

The entitlement of the Sky 6 is astounding. I wish they and their yank owners fucked off into the Super League tbh

For now until Isak leaves (this summer or the next) All our socials are going to be flooded by these efans of Liverpool. Lose a game they on it. Draw the same thing. Even if we win, it will be #freeIsak

I kinda hope they bomb this season and dont make CL like 2 seasons ago whilst we do.

just like Arsenal after the Gordon goal?

After this summer I think I'd even prefer Arsenal to win the league

Deeney clearly wishes he was born on the streets of Compton circa 1970

He would be fucking wrecked over here with the way he carries on. Soft cunt wouldn’t last a day in that part of LA.

For me it's all about Liverpool seemingly being the only possible destination if he leaves. If PSG, Real, Barca etc were interested I'd be "fine" with letting him go for 130m or whatever. But letting him go to Liverpool, the team we're trying to catch, is a non-starter for me. Hell, even Chelsea would be a better option, although of course not preferable.

This. We are competing with Liverpool on four fronts this season. They are a competitor in all competitions we are in. We cannot sell to them.

Anyone go to WWF wrestling at the arena tonight? At the main event at the end, the baddie wrestler pulls off his leotard to reveal an ISAK 9 Liverpool shirt.

Absolute horror from the crowd.

Eventually the main goody wrestler (either CM Punk or LA Knight) writhes the shirt off him and chucks it into the crowd [emoji38]

Aye we were there as well. What a way to get the crowd on your back, perfect heel move.

Made me sick seeing the Isak 9 on the Liverpool shirt though.

Apparently the Neapolitan Nonce has said we expect Isak to return to full training on Tuesday. Anyone actually heard him say this?

I did not but if this motherfucker wants to get paid, get back to fucking work.

If the two weeks wages thing is true he will be wracking up over 500k loss by Tuesday. Im sure he will come back for the last week or so. Save some pennies and hope he gets a last minute move. Whether Eddie chooses to integrate him is a different story.

Don't know. If he's definitely not going it looks a bit better for him to technically return before the deadline.

He's already foolishly fallen for Liverpool's charms, I think he'll bee hoping until the very last minute they'll be back with a sensible bid

Ultimately if Liverpool don't make a serious bid they will have let him down and he'd do well to remember that

Though I'm half expecting him to turn up in the away end tomorrow.

Undo his coat to reveal a Liverpool shirt..

Then take if off to reveal a PSG shirt...

...then take that off to reveal a Newcastle shirt... middle fingers and couple of stunners.. jobs a goodun, redemption arc complete.

Heard him say that on his latest youtube video. He doesn't sound as convinced of this move happening as he was a week ago. Even Liverpool Press Officer D.Ornstein has given up as well.

Not only do we not need to sell, we cant afford to sell due to lack of depth which raises his value to us as higher then market value.

Plus, Liverpool fans balking at 150mil is ironic given that they have set a stupid benchmark by paying 117 million for a PL-untested midfielder in this same window. All this talk about "they should sell for 130 because it will be a British record transfer" is just deliberate and mischievous framing.
