He speaks a little more on it here (from about 47mins in). Makes the smarmy, dipper rimming cunt before him, look a right tit.

That Kaveh looks fuming. Wants to chime in and pipe off Liverpool somehow. But knows matey is bang on. Even ‘white jacket man’ seemed onside.

I'm with Eddie. I just want this utter pansy to be no longer our problem.

IMO his conduct this summer raises serious questions about his character and competitive instincts that make me wonder about whether he'll be able to maintain last year's performance. We should sell high.

I agree with this, there is also some risk in keeping him. What if he gets some bad injury now that we have signed players for quite a lot. Then we might be stuck with him while having to sell other players to not break PSR rules.

When I was a kid we'd all moan if the Sunday game involved, or worse was between, Man United/Arsenal/Liverpool/Spurs again and the rare alternative games were almost always better. Kaveh was the sort of cunt that moaned if it was anybody but one of those teams he probably pretended to support to feed his smugness and still is.

Howe and probably those on the ground at the club every day want him gone. The big question is will Yasir sign it off and for less that has been publicised they want.

The scousers are clearly briefing that they’ll not pay 150, I’m still not sure this happens if they don’t cough up.

The only reason I could see for PIF signing off on a sale to Liverpool for less than £150m is if they feel that it's probably Isak's peak value now regardless. He has had persistent muscle niggles which have kept him out for small periods of time, and his behaviour isn't what you would want if you are trying to create the whole is bigger than the parts culture at a club. There is always the risk his value could drop if he has a season of poor commitment.

I agree. Just not to Liverpool.

How can we can we peddle Rat Man abroad when nobody is in for him. If he's sold, it's to Liverpool. I can see Eddie questioning weather he'd give any effort at all if he's kept.

He doesn't need to give any effort he just needs to rot.

I totally get that and I can see why, the fucking absolute prick. I don't really want him sold to Liverpool but the things to consider leaving out the anger.

1) He can rot, we get no money and no effort but pay his wage.

2) He can rot, we fine him seven weeks and pay him the rest for doing nowt as you American Geordies say.

3) Sell him to Liverpool and set a bad precedent, a terrible one I might add. We do get a big huge chunk of change for our troubles.

4) Sell him elsewhere but there is no bids from anyone else.

I am guessing we see either 3 or more likely 1.

Neither are great.

The media bandwagon of "He's already gone to Liverpool" rolls on, but our position should still be "Written transfer request and £150 million offer, or he stays and you can try again in the next window."

I do not argue that.

We end up with 1 or 2 of what I laid out as I don't see either thing happening.

1) He shows up and causes as much trouble and does as little as possible.

2) He stays away and loses 7 weeks of pay.

How can a player show up to do as little as possible, hardly train and not get game time, then still expect a top club to pay big money for them in a years time?

How? Did you see what this shithead is capable of? He fucking wins a cup, get's champions league and quits on everybody. You know of the let him rot crowd, which I understand. Is this asshole capable of equal revenge type of shit.  Some people dig in. Do you think he gives a single shit what fee Newcastle get? Teams very well could read his shit year as what it would be, I'm playing but on strike. They bid and get him for much less knowing what he is capable of.  I don't know how it will play out but just saying do you think teams will say "Bloody hell, he's bad". No chance.

I detest the dilemma that Isak has put us in. On the one hand, we can’t trust him to put a shift in if he stays. On the other, if he gets his dream move to Liverpool in the end, it will surely prove that going on strike is an effective tactic to force a sale under value to a “big” club. It is a terrible precedent to set. Even if we get Wissa or JSL to replace him, they’d repeat this tactic next summer if and when they play a blinder and score anywhere close to 20 goals. Even if we force Isak to go to PSG or Barcelona, he’d get a move to a richer club, against our wishes.

Even worse when you think about how Eddie Howe essentially develops players into the optimum versions of themselves. Imagine if we basically end up as the finishing school for players for the “Sky Six”. If PIF and Yasir has any aspirations for the club, we should draw the line at selling anyone below true value (except to the Saudi League), and take a leaf from Marinakis at Forest, who swiftly blocked the MGW sale and launched legal proceedings against Spurs. Over-the-top tactics, sure, but really sent a message not to dick around with the club’s players. And thereafter, no disruption to Forest’s summer window and prep, and they have bought well, and kicked the season off well.

I can understand people wanting to keep him and not giving in. It's a shitty situation he put us in and giving into him has a similar feeling of having a cactus shoved up my ass but I do wonder if Eddie and the lads are better off just being rid of the guy.

All the positivity from our new signings is overshadowed by his bullshit. The whole thing is just exhausting.
