Our public statement was he is for sale based upon certain conditions. Looking back at that statement it was a mistake and helped drive down the price.

I'm not sure what facts are making you so certain about everything tbh...

Think half the board need to find new interests with the amount NUFC winds them up

Pros

Doubled our money

Got rid of a dickhead

Still have a quality team with some great characters

Exciting new striker and other signings

Won a cup last season

Cons

Nah, still thinking about the pros thankyou

Doubled our money isn't relevant we are having to spend a fortune to replace him and even then if it's just one it isn't sufficient.

Got rid of a dickhead sure by folding like a pack of cards and signalling to world too can buy our best players at a price of four choosing.

Starting 11 is weaker than it was

Won a cup thanks to a winner from our dickhead.

Easy to spin this either way.

Cons

Losing an elite striker and leaving us very short heading into a crucial UCL season.

Dickhead or not, that is a massive failure.

I personally find it all a little knee-jerk like not gonna lie. I'd be very surprised if we sold him tomorrow without replacements in place.

If you read the forum 2 days ago plenty people would have you believe keeping him was the absolute worst thing we could do. Now there's talk of selling him again that's the worst thing.

I don't envisage Al Ramuyyan updating mainstream media on his intent to sell Isak at this stage of the window so for me it is most likely more bollocks and more attempts to keep folk engaged on this shit-show-story that's generating hundreds of thousands of interactions via social and mainstream media.

Agree, but it NO which is knee-jerktastic although tbf there’s a few who are willing to see what happens

It hinges on a replacement for me. Selling for that, and nobody coming in tomorrow would just show we’ve been bullied. The £130m doesn’t mean much if we finish midtable followed by the inevitable exodus. The number of points we’ve thrown away due the lack of a striker already should be ringing alarm bells.

I don't understand how hard it can be to find a backup striker really but it seems we gone completely blind by anything that isn't EPL until the last week. There is a whole world out there, with plenty of good to decent leagues, some fucking club must have a established or promising striker that is better than Osula.

And to be clear I don't have any expectations about him playing for us again etc, it's a point of principle when some cunt bullies you, the moment you cave the moment your fucked.

We are caving in here, I'm not sure why some folks don't see that.

Hopefully Tonali and Tino will have the decency to put in a transfer request. Fucking unreal that we face handing Isak millions for his 'loyalty'.

Any sale has to have a demand that Isak puts in a transfer request.

These Twitter guys all knew about Woltemade so clearly they have the inside scoop. Except they didn't know about Woltemade so they're just saying stuff, aren't they.

They're client journalists, they're getting updates from Isak's agent and Liverpool.

Again on what basis are we caving?

On the same shit journos have peddled for like 3months now?

We haven't doubled our money at all - especially if Wissa is the replacement who will ultimately be a 50-60 million PSR loss at the end of it all since there is zero chance he will be anywhere near is book value when we get rid.

I genuinely couldn’t care less if we sell him tomorrow, for £130m, £125m etc. I don’t care.

So long as we have a replacement through the door.

If we don’t get a replacement, and we sell him, then I’ll be annoyed, but a lot can happen over the next 19 hours or so.

Which really only tells us that Isak wants to go to Liverpool, ultimately - they're attempting to state what NUFC are doing but, y'know, it's just fetid hot air. 'It may happen or not!' - shrug.
