Unless I’ve missed it I’m really surprised he hasn’t tried to build some bridges with the fans and explained his exit - a true rat it seems.

He may have done but after the clubs statement he's probably thinking why bother

Going to need some solid documentation before believing his agent gets a substantial fee of the transfer price.

Him getting a cut of whatever Isak is paid is what makes sense.

Usually an agent will earn around 10% of the transfer fee. Very much doubt Isak paid him around £12m out of his own pocket. I'd certainly need some solid documentation to believe that!

Heard the same BS about loyalty bonus being 10% of the transfer fee. Not going to believe it.

The only thing i think after the embarrassment of selling your best player and being treated like this splashed out in front of the press - is that potentially this may galvanise the powers that be to actually invest in the stadium, training ground, DOF, CEO and make sure that we work seamlessly over the next 5-10 years so we can make it to the top and stay there.

Why would he? He burnt the bridge we called him a cunt.

Again he's a selfish piece of shit, he used us and got his way doubt we exist to him.

I guess given his time he what he achieved, what the fans did for him. He could have repaired some damage by saying thank you and explaining himself a bit. Some sort of PR salvage mission.

Guess he really doesn’t give a shit.

He doesn't give a shit about any of that and to be fair, I think no matter what he would have said most fans would believe he's a cunt.

Too much disrespect to be tolerated.

He had about £30m left of his amortisation. So if we clear £100m then it’s £70m net.

Woltemade and Wissa will cost about £35m per year. So Isak covers them for 2 seasons.  I thought it would be more like 3 seasons.
It’s not the PSR silver bullet people think it is. And few of our bigger signings will be unless we get a premium.  Thats because a majority of our big transfers were bought at a premium in the first place.  And then we replace them with premium signings.

Our entire transfer approach isn’t going to be overly fruitful long term from a PSR perspective.  It does need to change.

£25 Mill left of his amorticised fee (63/5) £6 Mill sell on fee to Sociedad = £99 mill left.

Agent fees are paid by the buyer.

Plus £18 mill saved over next 3 years in rat wages.

All our signings up to and including Woltemade were within our existing PSR headroom, even Wissa could have been tbh.

It's a huge positive injection.

This is why he waived his loyalty bonus but did not hand in a transfer request. If he had handed in a transfer request we would not have had to pay the agent £12m as typically agent bonuses are lost if this happens

If it was such a major injection for PSR we would have done more business in the final day.  Squad is still a CM and a LB light.

We needed to start scouting those players about 2 years ago if we wanted them on deadline day, and bidding for them 2 months ago.

It's nice to have some room to manouver in January incase of injuries. Also probably would be hard to find good deals at this stage.

I'm certain we could have bought someone if we wanted.
