I couldn’t care less. Just wish we were a bit better with this stuff instead of being miles behind a club we’re trying to emulate.

What have we done wrong with Wissa like?

Surely his minutes should have been managed better having not trained properly? We both known Liverpool have communicated with Sweden in ensuring he only played quarter of an hour or whatever over there.

Aye that's Congos fault not ours.

Its a bit different like. DR Congo haven't qualified for a World Cup since 1974, and that is their only appearance at a World Cup in their history, and given how pivotal that Senegal game was, where had they won, they would have all but qualified, and that Wissa is one of, if not their best player, we have no right to request anything of them, and if we did, i'm not sure Wissa would have been too fond of that decision anyway. If they qualify, he goes down as a legend. Sweden have another quality option upfront in Gyokeres, as well as players like Elanga.

He’s our player. We pay him. There needs to be open communication and sensible management of minutes in collaboration with the club.

Oh right aye it's our fault. Have a day off man.

You’re not the brightest are you @Fak? Nobody said we injured him. He shouldn’t have been playing 170 minutes in the space of 4 days including the full game against South bloody Sudan after not training properly all summer. The club were well within their rights to have an input on this.

He got subbed against South Sudan in the 60th minute. He was also still training with Brentford, and not on his own, he just wasn't playing.

You're making stuff up. I never once said we injured him.

He played an hour in their first game

Do you think Congo were completely unaware that he'd had no pre-season or something?

Hands up. Someone said he played full game and then 74 mins against Senegal. It’s too much football given his circumstances.

What an absolute dip shit calling someone not bright only to admit you got it wrong yourself. [emoji38]

Right if you think he should have been allowed to play that much football in Africa on the back of no pre-season, fair enough. Waste of my time. The club got it absolutely spot on.

What are you waffling on about man? It's absolutely far from ideal that he played that much. Can you show me where I said otherwise? Something else you've completely made up here.

My argument is that I don't think Newcastle are in anyway to blame for the injury whereas you do.

You said he played 170 minutes of football in 4 days. He played 60 minutes against Sudan, when the fuck did he play the remaining 110 minutes?

He was took off after an hour against Sudan. Against Senegal it was a much win game and I think under ideal circumstances they'd have been able to take him off with a comfortable lead. With the game at 2-2 I assume they kept him on out of desperation for a winner. Whereas Sweden can rely on Gyokeres and Elanga etc in Isaks absence, who can Congo rely on when they don't have Wissa on? Do you honestly think Congo needed Newcastle to let them know he's had no pre-season? Do you not think they already knew that?

If they had won against Senegal theyd have had 1 foot in the door for their first world cup in 50 years. I really don't think anyone at Congo were giving a shit about what Newcastle thought.

Not really sure it’s up to us though and he didn’t get injured on the basis of being knackered , he had an awkward fall

Am I right that as long as the player is medically cleared to play, we have no right whatsoever to dictate how a player is used by his NT in official matches, while we do have the ability to influence the NT for friendles? Or am I just FM-pilled?

Probably. Just because JDT is happy to suck Liverpool cock doesn't mean DR Congo would do the same if we asked them to.
