Then again, since I haven't watched their previous euro games, that may well be pure nonsense.

 

Not having that initial batch of absentees through obscure injuries or bans helps too.

There is barely anyone at some of these matches... is this the future of the champions league?

It just feels like there's so little riding on each game from a neutral POV. 

 

Obviously if you're a Villa fan for example you'd be wanting them to finish in the top 8, but as a neutral it's hard to care where a team finishes from 1st-24th spot. 

 

Psg v City might be the only interesting fixture out of this whole league.

This Andreas Schjelderup is quite fun, he runs like he doesn't know how many feet he has but seems to cause problems.
