mad season, Brentford's home and away form has completely flipped

they had the best home record in the league when they beat us 4-2, couldn't stop winning and scoring for fun, but their away form was the complete opposite

since beating us 4-2, they've failed to win any of their 7 home league games, taking just 2 points from possible 21

now they've just won their last 5 away league games!

and of course they go to SJP next...

Get in Wissa!

What a season he's having.

He’s criminally underrated if you ask me. Cretes enough as he scores too!

Just need an Arsenal win to go along with our League Cup win for the perfect weekend.

My lead engineer on the UK team is a big Arsenal supporter. He moved house last year near Newcastle and his girlfriend is a Geordie. He's a great lad btw, he said they were going to watch Arsenal then the cup final as she's buzzing over it. I hope she's over the moon come Monday morning.

Not much difference between Villa, Bournemouth, Fulham and Brighton. Top 7 or not.

They also have the derby where Man Utd always gives everything and their current form doesnt really matter.

Here's the table since 29th of dec:

During those 11 games City has faced Chelsea, Arsenal, us, Liverpool and Forest away. Lets include Brighton in that aswell (which they don't have left btw, as they played today), as they are third in this timeframe. These are 6 out of the 11 games, and they came out of it with 20 points. If you look at their final 9 games, they are without a doubt easier fixtures than the 11 that they have just acquired 20 points from.

First of all i agree that they do have the easiest fixtures left, but there are some naunces.

Newcastle dont look like a top team at Etihad, probably one of their easiest games of the year.

Their games against Man Utd live a life of their own. 5-1-5 is their record against them the last 5 years in the PL during Man Citys dominant run.

Other than that there are plenty of tricky games for them left.

Id say Forest is the clear favorite to get a top 4/5 position, with City, Newcastle and Chelsea having very equal chances. Slight edge to City.

Obviously our game is the highlight, but some great games today:

- Celtic vs Rangers

• Arsenal vs Chelsea

• Atalanta vs Inter

• Liverpool vs Newcastle

• Atleti vs Barcelona

• PSG vs Marseille

• Leicester vs Man United

You've left off arguably the best one as well, Sheffield Wednesday vs Sheffield United at 12.30pm. Huge game in terms of both playoffs and automatics promotion. It might be somewhat telling that Celtic vs Rangers is on Sky Sports 'Main Event' at the same time, but other than bragging rights (albeit a lot of them, ha), there's very little else riding on that match and absolutely no jeopardy whatsoever. Celtic are definitely finishing 1st, Rangers 2nd.

I'll be getting the train into town at that time, but I'd have definitely been watching the Sheffield match if I was having my usual lazy Sunday.

I'm not saying that they will win every game, but they don't need to. Not at all. They can afford to drop some points vs teams like Villa and Man Utd. It's not like the won't win some of those tricky games either, and they have 3 games (out of 9) left that are pretty much a walkover for them. That means they'll need around 8 points vs Villa, Palace, Everton, Bournemouth, Fulham and Man Utd. They can probably afford a 2-2-2 outcome from those, and they'll be at 65 points. I think that will be enough for 5th. Might even be less.
