Facepalm all you like, I expected all 3 to drop points today and all 3 of them found a way to win. The chances of us getting top 5 went down as a result of those 3 results today, I'm not saying we won't get there but all 3 of them picking up wins when we've looked really dodgy recently doesn't exactly bode well. The competition for the last 2 places all won, we're going to West Ham needing to win to keep us in the picture, our remaining fixtures aren't great and we're chasing teams who keep on winning

A defeat on Monday leaves us three points off 5th. It wouldn't be the end of the world, but we can't keep waiting until the next game to get our act together. Every game counts now and on paper at least, Monday is a big opportunity to take three points.

With any luck ricin will have been mixed into the bubble solution at the London Stadium and all of our players just die on the pitch there and then saving us all the bother of the next week. We're 3 points off 4th and in a final, fucking kill iz

Its tight because we and everyone around us is inconsistent. The stars aligning so that 3 of the teams win in the same week means nothing when there are 4 points between 4th and 10th with 10/11 games left and 33 points available.

Man City and Fulham lost as well, but I suppose they don't count if you're exclusively a glass half empty person.

Brighton, Nov-Jan: eight without a win

Villa, Jan-Feb: five without a win

Chelsea since Xmas: W3 D3 L5

City: unprecedented number of defeats

Bournemouth: currently three defeats in four

We're all at it, we just need to build some momentum.

Aye it’s all about who can go on a run from here.  If we play well and go on a run we’ll be in the CL. Same is true for any club in that bracket (except Villa - too many games).

Brighton are back in it with 4 wins in a row.

Forest having the points in the bag is a huge advantage. They can stumble over the line if needed

“They’ll be aggressive. They’ll be on the front foot”

Is this just the standard, default phrase for all pundits now when describing teams?

Presume we want a Spurs win here, but also not angry at the idea of Bournemouth laying a Spursy beat down?

Spurs win all the way.
