Literally throwing games away now - not a good look for the leagues integrity

The two Europa League finalists are now behind 0-2 at home to Palace and West Ham respectively and lingering at 16th and 17th place. This is the stuff that happens in FM and EA FC Career mode where you go "Ok that's unrealistic, shit game!"

Would love UEFA to invoke some clause where teams that win the EL but finish below a Certain league position/points, DON'T qualify for the CL.

Would serve them right for throwing league matches in favour of the EL once they weren't in danger of going down.

Good job the rules don't apply to them isn't it?

1billion in debt but free to spend regardless.

Must be nice...

Yeah same, however we need to get our place first and foremost.

Wanting Forest to lose doesn’t equate to not wanting them to get Champions League football, it just means we want our slot confirmed ahead of them.

I don't think they are tbh. They're just crap [emoji38]

They're both playing at home as well and all. They are both so bad it's untrue.

Presume it’s been discussed somewhere already but cant find the right thread…

Do we prefer an Arsenal win today so they are on the beach next week or prefer them to lose and pull us/them into the mix?

Lose.

We still stand a chance of finishing 2nd if they fuck up today.

Yeah, and it may still not pan out.

Amorim has performed so badly in the league I'm not sure he can turn it around unless he gets a brand new 11 for the first team, which isn't happening.

This.

Couldn't possibly care less about what happened during the miners' strike or whatever reason I'm supposed to hate them any more than I'd hate Germans for WW2. It's no longer relevant.

Infinitely rather see Chelsea and Villa fail.

I wish Assanal win, so that our fanbase no longer get deluded by the prospect of 2nd( whenever that happens, we lost or have dropped points, like Villa)

Also, our guys might play with much less pressure & ass could felt they are on the "beach".

Spurs and Man united are just creating a mentality where it's acceptable to lose. Will be hard for them to get everyone to switch back to every game being important.

Should be a case of Champions League football if you miss out on it via the league, unless you finish in the bottom half, in which case you swap your Champions League place to the team who have the first Europa League place.

It’s absolutely still fucking relevant - the NE has never recovered from the miners’ betrayal.  Take a wander around the old pit towns and villages if you seriously think that the removal of heavy industry isn’t relevant.

Fuck those scab cunts

Leicester have looked so bad every time that I have seen them, that if it was the Championship from 5 years ago that they are going into, you wouldn’t expect them to bounce straight back up.

Looks less effective than Callum Wilson.

Except for time spent on the pitch.

Vardy wins there.
