Watching Semenyo when we have Elanga is painful

I remember posts on here with people saying they didn't want Semenyo last summer as he wasn't good enough[emoji38].

I think the concern was more relating to the price.

Maybe because he was too expensive? I don’t remember anyone saying he wasn’t good enough.

Which in hindsight might have been worth it. [emoji38]

Maybe but it was about 70m they were asking which he may be worth but I'm not sure we are in a position to be paying those kind of fees.

If Doku had a brain. He’d be one of the world’s best wingers.

Basically made the wrong decision all but 2 times. Got acres at times to go down the outside. But cuts infield into traffic or chops back for a backwards pass.

£60 million for Elanga or £70 million for Semenyo, I know which is the better deal.

Very promising signs for Man Utd so far I think.

Carrick has something about him man. Really wish they had gone with Ole instead.

I think they are doing a good job of punishing citys arrogance.

Disappointing we weren't able to put this type or pressure on city. I don't think these two kids are good enough to be playing out from the back

We win that game with a top striker up front.

Man U have been very good in attack and on the break. All the space left in behind, the same as the first half on Tuesday. They’ve just exploited it better than we did, so far.

City will improve late on with the subs again. Just depends if Man U are ahead by then or not.

We had pressure and chances, had trouble finishing which they didn’t.

Yeah, perhaps.

They just look really well organised altogether and their moves to break forward from the back have been quick and sharp.
