Kane going down like his leg is broken, when the only thing that touches his leg is the ball. Of course the player gets booked too. Standard if referring is utterly shocking

At the end of the season should have televised refereeing awards with things like the worst ref being called out with clips.

Sky will be delighted to see their beloved Spurs in the top four.

To be fair, Sky have been licking our hoop a fair bit this season. I remember Saints and Foxes fan were far from happy with the respective League Cup coverage [emoji38]

Agreed - we all zoom in on things that get our back up and magnify that a lot more.

Yeah, draws can be OK, especially against teams around you as they drop points as well, but while the 6 matches prior to Liverpool extended our unbeaten run to 17 games at the time, so more positives could be drawn, 1 win and 5 draws is equivalent to 2 wins, 2 draws, and 2 defeats, which doesn't look impressive at all, and 2W 2D 3L as the equivalent now with the Lpool defeat, it looks even worse, barely a point per game over 7 games which is an ample part of the season, almost a 5th of it. Probably be exactly a point per game over 8 after Man City away, and there were many favourable matches in that period where the opposition were between 4 and 6-1 to win. A lot of very tough looking matches in the final 15, far harder on paper than some of the matches we have passed up.

They did have Paqueta, but West Ham looked far better against us than they have here. They've offered next to nothing.

Give it a couple of years and we'll be at the stage where we win games like this just on quality of players. At the moment our forwards have to be bang on their game to win like this. We'll get there in time.

Shame really as Top 4 was ours to lose - draws against the likes of Leeds and Bournemouth (x2) has come back to bite us. Spurs are still choke artists.

Spurs at home is going to be huge.

Sadly it's our paper thin squad that's caused it, but nobody expected top 4 this season. Our aggressive press puts a lot of strain on the players, they all knackered tbh. Still very proud of what we have achieved this season.

Say what you like about performances but teams around us have proven goal scorers in Salam, Kane, rashford, Nunez (he’ll only get better and better) - we need to make that position a top priority for me with woods (hopefully) money and some others going out, lascelles, Fraser.

We’re less than 2/3 through the season and out of the top 4 by 1 point with a game in hand and people are going on like the season is over.

Not going on like the season is over - I’ll be delighted with 6th or even 7th but it’s fair game to recognise we’re spurning a lot of chances recently.
