No. etc. etc. You still put Ashley Cole in at left back in an all time XI, because his highest level was better than anyone else's in that position. This is where it comes down to opinion, but I think Giggs had multiple seasons that were better than Bale in 12/13. Bale and Suarez were both incredible though so it's a fair argument either way. If longevity at an extremely high level is the bar, then Giggs goes in over Henry. Giggs was tearing teams apart as a teenage winger in the early 90's, and controlling games as a 39 year old central midfielder in the 2010's. His highest level isn't as high as Henry's though. But yeah, I get the thinking behind it. For me Salah has had one or two 10/10 seasons and like seven or so 9/10 seasons vs Ronaldo's one or two 10/10 seasons and two or so 9/10 seasons. If we're doing an 'only peak' XI I think Suarez gets in before anyone as well. He's the highest peak I've ever seen in the league, higher even than Henry, Shearer, Ronaldo, Bale.
